Top 15 Video Games With Immense Potential That Ultimately Disappointed

We’ve seen games that were overhyped and failed to deliver, we’ve seen games that were technical nightmares, we’ve seen games that had no real story and we’ve seen games that just broke our hearts with how bad/boring the were. So here’s a Top 15 list of games that disappointed us for one reason or another. [interaction id=”5963780bf7ddd65e0bce104e”] Final Fantasy XV Even after a long development cycle and major improvements in gameplay and visuals, the overall final experience was ultimately disappointing. While individual battles and encounters were enjoyable, the game never delivered the sense of epic wonder and magic that Final Fantasy games usually do. Why you should start playing The Division

Many had lost hope on the division just a month after its release, and rightly so. The bugs, the lack of content and the servers being down most of the time. I, being one of those people who had a lot of expectations left my controller in just a few days. Now a year later I can’t seem to get myself away from the game.So here is why I picked it up and why I think everyone should again. The Devs recently dropped the 3rd dlc called last stand and with it patch 1.6. The AI is now tougher and meaner. You will need a group of four that’s well-coordinated to take on the new legendary difficulty that they’ve added. There has been an addition of 3 more areas in the dark zone expanding the area for PvP play. There are now exotic gears and weapons which are a must to grind for. Both in the dark zone ...

The Division Update 1.6 Details and Patch Notes

The Division update 1.6 is starting to roll out along side the third expansion The Last Stand. Major changes incoming! Recently Ubisoft had revealed the changes that will be there in the next update, which according to them are some of the most significant they have made to the game since its release. A new area will be open in the northern parts of the Dark Zone, where Dark Zone 7, 8, and 9 will now be available. According to Ubisoft, the conditions in these areas are “especially dire”. These new places, including the underground arenas, will supposedly double the size of the existing Dark Zone. Additionally, players will be able to fast travel around the map. Apart from this, clearing the landmarks will now place the loot directly in your inventory, rather than you going to e...

Ubisoft Is Bringing Back The Division In A Big Way

The Division launched with much fanfare, and while I personally enjoyed my time with it, after a time it got highly repetitive and grindy. Many other players also felt the same and the game fell off the grid for quite a while. However, Ubisoft is now set to bring the game back in a major way with the latest update, called Update 1.4, bringing in key changes to how the game plays, and addressing many of the issues players had with the end game in The Division. Update 1.4 for Tom Clancy’s The Division makes changes to the enemy and the ‘Time to Kill. The central focus of this update is World Tiers where players can opt in to fight against tougher enemies for greater rewards. The update also rebalances the weapons, and PvP elements of the game, making the game a lot more appealing...

Ubisoft Planning Major Changes To Revitalize The Division

Ubisoft has announced some major changes for The Division, many of which will be welcome by the players. The upcoming updates aim to add more balance to the game. Here’s the post from their website: “As mentioned in the last developement blog and the State of the Game livestream where we introduced World Tiers, one issue facing The Division today is that the power difference between optimized and non-optimized builds is too great. We still want people to optimize their gear and min-max to their heart’s content, but in order to balance the game, we need to reduce the gap between the two extremes. As part of Update 1.4 we also want to bring back the shooter feeling, add more decision making and hard choices when building your character and add more variety to the viable builds. I...

The Division Conflict Update Details

The Fight to save New York continues with the second major free update that introduces a new Incursion called Clear Sky, all new gear sets, weapons and loot, mission to take down enemy leaders, and extractions just got a whole lot more interesting with the Hijack feature. While the new incursion and high end gear will be familiar stuff for The Division players, the Hijack feature is what makes it interesting. While extraction loot in the Dark Zone, once the player attaches the loot to the rope hanging from the chopper, players will no longer be breathing a sigh of relief. Other Division agents can now come up to the rope, and cut  it in order to obtain all the loot attached to it. About Tom Clancy’s The Division Tom Clancy’s The Division is a revolutionary next-gen experience that brings t...

Why The Hate For The Division?

It’s been some time since The Division released and I have seen many hate posts on social media, groups etc. regarding the game. All these posts made me wonder, what was wrong with the game because of which it is getting this kind of hate. Is it the typical Ubisoft game hate? Or something else. This made me do some research, so that I can find the major reasons behind all this. The most common hate reasons are: The game was downgraded and the optimization is not good on PC. This is somewhat understandable since I’ve faced this even on my Titan X, which is not able to play the game on constant 60 fps on Ultra (I’m playing on high-ultra with 40+ FPS). Other than that there many other complaints such as the downgrade, since the game looked much better in E3 trailers. Which does no...

The Dark Zone: How It Delivers A Tense & Compelling Multiplayer Experience

The Dark Zone, or DZ, is the PvP section of The Division, the Open World Online Role Playing Game by Ubisoft. Yes, it’s claiming to be all of that. Some creative chap at Ubisoft must have gone like- So what’s popular these days? Well Open World sure is. Players can’t get enough of collecting shit thrown all across the map. Who cares about quality when they’re overburdened with quantity. And then there’s the Role Playing part. That genre’s been stealing GOTYs for years now, no way we wouldn’t get one if we added the RPG tag to our game. And finally online. I mean seriously, if it’s not online then it obviously not next gen. Pft. And then there’s the game part. Which tells us that it’s a game. Anyways, the Dark Zone. I played it qui...
