Square Enix has released “Inside Final Fantasy VII Remake Episode 1,” the first in a multi-part series featuring interviews with the key staff behind Final Fantasy VII Remake. This first video serves as an introduction to the development of Final Fantasy VII Remake and features interviews with producer Yoshinori Kitase, director and concept designer Tetsuya Nomura, story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, co-director (game design and programming) Naoki Hamaguchi, and co-director (scenario design) Motomu Toriyama. Final Fantasy VII Remake demo now available

A demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store, Square Enix announced. The demo features the first chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake: the Mako 1 Reactor bombing mission. Save data from the demo cannot be carried over to the full version of the game. Square Enix also noted that the content in the demo may differ from that of the final release. Users who download the demo before May 11 will receive an exclusive PlayStation 4 theme when the full game launches. The Last of Us HBO series adaptation announced

Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and The Last of Us writer and creative director Neil Druckmann will adapt The Last of Us video game franchise into an HBO series, the network announced. Druckmann will work with Mazin to pen and executive producer the series. Naughty Dog president Evan Wells will also executive produce along with Chernobyl executive producer Carolyn Strauss.
