Aliens Confirmed In GTA V, Hackers Unlock Secret Mission Involving Chiliad Mystery
Ever since the original release of Grand Theft Auto V on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, data miners and curious players have been at it to solve the “Chiliad Mystery”, to find out what the pictograph means and if there’s jetpacks or aliens in the game. With the recent Gunrunning update, data miners from Team Guru found a series of files and code that hinted towards a UFO Crash near Fort Zancudo. Players were excited to find out more about the mysterious Alien Egg that they had previously found. After Massive Fan Outcry, GTA V Modding Returns, But With Some Caveats
After Take-Two decided to send a C&D letter to the developer of OpenIV and basically shutting down the single player modding scene, people were upset and angry about it were very vocal about it. This seems to have worked from the looks of it because OpenIV just got an update. Although it’s a small update, this confirms that OpenIV is back! After Take-Two have essentially banned modding for Grand Theft Auto V, the whole gaming community, especially PC gamers have come together to make it known that they are not pleased with the decision. Court Dismisses Lindsay Lohan’s Grand Theft Auto V Lawsuit
Baack in 2014, Lindsay Lohan had filed a lawsuit against Take-Two, the publisher behind GTA V, claming that they had used her likeness in the game, and promotional material for the game. Acterss, Lindsay Lohan said that an in-game character named Lacey Jonas carried a strong resemblance to her. Later, she also targeted the bikini-clad character holding up the peace sign on the game’s promotional material. “The Plaintiff has been using the peace sign hand gesture for years before and after its use in the video game,” read Lohan’s complaint at the time. Last Of Us In Grand Theft Auto V?
In less than a year after its release on the PC, Grand Theft Auto V has seen mods varying from incredible to ridiculous to ‘who the f**k asked for that’! Anyways, this latest mod has turned quiet a few heads, but changing a section of the immensely huge game map to look like the acclaimed Playstation exclusive title, The Last Of Us. The mod rips up the said section of the map, and gives it a desolate post-apocalyptic look, littered with destruction and urban foliage. The mod includes over 1600 elements that render it a look as that of the Last Of Us. It also adds over 60 wrecked vehicles and a custom safe house. Patches! Gitch’yer Patches ‘ere! Arkham Knight, GTA V and Witcher 3
This week’s major updated games are: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman Arkham Knight. Batman Arkham Knight‘s PC version is still not fixed, and after delaying the Batgirl DLC, WB has announced that the latest patch for the game is coming on July 27th. No fixes have been detailed yet, but prepare for one massive patch notes section this time. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt got a patch this week, the Patch 1.07, and it adds quite a bit, but it also reportedly causes performance slowdowns in consoles. CDPR is already calling it the “Largest patch for the game yet”. The patch is 7.3 GBs on consoles and around 2.2 GBs on the PC.
