Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs Legion at E3

The third iteration in the open-world action adventure series is set in a futuristic London where disorder is ironically the order of the day and chaos runs wild. The government has “fucked off” and extremists have taken over. The UK has progressed into a surveillance state with drones around every corner tracking your every move. This resistance which is called DedSec has their own in-house AI, Bagley which interacts with the player regularly. He offers up curt witticisms and talks to the player with that dry British humor. This game is built on a gameplay mechanic that will enable the player to control any ...

Assassin’s Creed And Watch Dogs Set In The Same Universe?

We’ve already seen some hints in the past that suggest that Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed titles are set in the same fictional world. And an easter egg in Assassin’s Creed Origins only seems to provide more proof for this theory. Like every Assassin’s Creed title, Origins also has modern day segments. She has a laptop filled with emails and documents about people related to the games’ plot, who may have died. One of these people is Olivier Garneau, the chief creative officer of Abstergo Entertainment, the same company in whose offices Assassin’s Creed IV was set. In that game, we discovered ...

3 Games That Let Us Down

Video games play a role that is similar to that of movies and that is of wish fulfillment, in other words allowing us to play out those fantasies that we can’t in real life. For some its a pass time, for others its a way of escaping into another realm. However not all games can satisfy this need some of us have to get fully immersed into a game. This usually happens when game developers promise a certain level of gaming satisfaction through maybe trailers and leaked images and do not follow through with it. An example of this could simply be the death of a character that we didn’t expect/want to have happened but did.   Even though most of the...
