One of the most talked about news in the gaming world the past week had to be the hike in the PS Plus subscription prices. Existing PS Plus subscribers have long complained that paying for this “exclusivity” doesn’t live up to its hype. The reason this service is a paid one is so that Sony filters out and only puts the best games on PS Plus. Now we’re not asking for triple A titles or new releases. The game doesn’t have to graphic intensive, but at least have a good story to make the game memorable for the player. One often wonders where the money being charged is being spent? It clearly isn’t spent in filtering out or curating games to present to the gamer. Honestly, some games look like they have been made using in-game assets on Unity a...
For most of the people, No Man’s Sky has been nothing but one disappointment after another. Allegedly, it is nowhere close to what Hello Games had promised. Needless to say, it was a huge letdown. Amazon, Sony (through the PSN) and Steam, all seem to agree on this viewpoint. Hence, they have started refunding the digital copies of the game regardless of how long you’ve spent playing the game. “You can do this with practically anything on Steam so long as you are not abusing the system,” posted NeoGaf user Nzyme32. “I assume they have some internal criteria for all this in coming to a decision as to whether you can get a refund when outside the normal refund criteria. I managed to get a refund on Volume & Homeworld Remastered (which I have since repurchased...

Homefront is about defending post-invasion America occupied by North Korean forces. In an alternate timeline, North Korea is the world’s biggest superpower, providing the US with all sorts of technological innovations. However, these come with a back door and one fine day, North Korea decides to shut all of it down, rendering the US defenseless. Cut to present day, where you play as Ethan Brady, a member of a resistance group rebelling against the KPA forces in the city of Philadel...
