Left Alive TGS 2017 Trailer – PS4 & PC

Left Alive takes place between Front Mission 5 and Front Mission Evolved, and features three different protagonists. The focus seems to have shifted from the mechs – or Wanzers, as they’re cutely known in Front Mission’s universe – onto the player characters, with no mech customisation but the promise of crafting for weapons. Left Alive is a brand-new survival action shooter coming to the PlayStation 4 and Steam in 2018. Register with us for the best in gaming, and join us for video game discussions on our forums.

Top 10 Video Game Remasters We Really Want To See Happen

We all have fond memories of the games that we used to play as kids but sometimes when we go back to play them again they just don’t hold up that well. So here’s a list of Top 10 Games that we really need HD Remasters of. Chrono Trigger Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPGs you can play but don’t let that 16bit art style fool you. Originally released in 1995 on the SNES it was received with extremely positive responses. Made by a team of the best RPG makers of that era, the game still holds up really well. Eventhough it has been ported to the PS1, DS and mobile devices I and a lot of fans would love a remake of it in the style of the FF7 remake. If you haven’t played this game already, I highly recommend that you do. Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3 We all know the whol...

Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 Review

PES 2017 is a genuine step forward in the series. This year the football play a bit more competitive again. Gameplay seems smooth and passing very authentic. It’s not only due to the easy controls, but also because of the smoothness in gameplay which is a direct result of the player’s brilliant animation system and fluidity with which they change their stance and sprint on the field. Why don’t we just get into the review itself? Goalkeeper Improvement The goalkeepers are supposedly improved this year, but I can’t see how! The keepers are fairly easy to get the ball past but even easier to beat once you place the ball before shooting. In PES 2016, keepers seemed to have an issue with getting low to save the ball, which meant a spilled ball would inevitably find the b...

Kojima Had Nothing To Do With Metal Gear: Survive

Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear franchise denied any involvement in the making of the upcoming title in the series, Metal Gear: Survive during the Tokyo Game Show. When asked about the game and his part in it, he claimed that he knew nothing about it. He went on to say that Metal Gear is more about political friction and espionage, and it has nothing to with zombies. Koji Shinkawa, the Character Designer for Kojima Productions’ first title, Death Stranding also weighed in, saying that Kojima hadn’t mentioned or talked about Survive even once, and for him Metal Gear is all about the two-legged walking mecha. Kojima also revealed a few details about his upcoming project, with a tentative release date prior to the Tokyo Olympics (to be held in 2020). He went on to teas...

Metal Gear Survive Announced, Konami Continues The Series After Kojima

This year’s Gamescom has seen quite a lot of announcements, among them being something that caught us a bit off-guard. Konami announced the next title in the Metal Gear series, called Metal Gear Survive, set for release for PC, Xbox One and PS 4 in 2017. The game is directly follows the events of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, and will feature the members of Militaires Sans Frontières who were not killed in the previous game. They are transported through a wormhole to an alternate universe, where they face in battle a force of crystalline zombies and, as it seems, at least one Metal Gear itself.   “Metal Gear Survive will offer a fresh take on the series’ famed stealth elements,” Konami European president, Tomotada Tashiro said in a press release, “but within a unique co-op se...

Kojima Trolls Fans with PT and Metal Gear Solid V Chapter 3

In addition to making immersive and story driven games, Hideo Kojima loves playing mind games with his fans and setting up elaborate ruses. Add to that the fact that fans have been quite disappointed lately due to, let’s call it closure with some of his recent work – the cancelled, much awaited horror themed PT, or the long fabled chapter 3 in Metal Gear Solid V – and it won’t be surprising to know that Kojima has played yet another prank on the gaming community. Fans have always had a tendency to read into things, especially when it’s regarding Kojima, but hey, it’s not like the guy doesn’t fuel the fire. Take a look at the tweet below for instance. 本日の小島監督。 Hideo Kojima today. pic.twitter.com/4pOSO6LiWi — Ayako (Touchy!) (@Kaizerkunkun) August 1,...

Easter Egg in Ground Zeroes Sheds Light on Kojima-Konami Split

GamesRadar‘s Leon Hurley discovered an Easter egg in the PS3/4 (timed) exclusive mission Déjà Vu, and it’s rather unsettling: in it, you erase games directed by Kojima himself with your UV light (and only those: games not directed by him are unaffected) and then a message, seemingly by Kojima himself, plays. You can see a somewhat condensed run-through of the easter egg bit below: (note the classic Snake model from Metal Gear Solid) (video courtesy of timesplitter88)   This puts a rather interesting take on the whole Kojima-Konami split, mainly that Kojima knew that it’s going to get ugly and tried to get the word out. The fact that it was in the Déjà Vu mission, which was marketed to fans of the franchise (it was released on PS3/4 first and was a timed exclusive to ...

Kojima Productions Asks Fans Whjat they Want in PC Version of MGS V: TPP

Kojima Production is new to the whole multi-platform game thing this generation, but they are trying so very hard to nail PC ports. The Ground Zeroes port was exceptional and ran so well that even mid range PCs maxed it out without breaking a sweat. Now Kojima Productions has taken to Steam forums for user feedback on further improving their PC port. Robert Peeler, MGS’s Community manager, asked for advice on Steam forums for more PC specific features and options. The thread is here and still active at the time of writing, so if you have a specific request, knock yourself out.
