The Top 10 Best Selling Games Of 2017

2017 has been a year with a bunch of really good game releases and with half the year over(time flies!) let’s take a look at the top selling games of 2017 until now based on revenue.

  1. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildland

I’m honestly quite surprised to see this game up here but hey it’s a pretty cool game to play along with your friends to try and tame the wild lands.

  2. For Honor

Another Ubisoft titles, For Honor was quite a different take on a medieval warfare type game with its mechanics and characters. Not sure how active the player base is now though.

  3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Not a surprise to see this one up here. It is an absolute masterpiece of a game with a lot of content to offer.

  4. Horizon Zero Dawn

Another exclusive title, this game had a great concept and the gameplay was pretty solid too. A great open-world RPG action-adventure game that you should play.

  5. Grand Theft Auto V

Even after 2 years of its last release(or release for a new platform) this game is still going strong and has rarely left the top selling charts on Steam.

  6. Mass Effect: Andromeda

Although it is a technical bugfest, the game sold quite well with fans wanting to satiate their hunger for more Mass Effect.

  7. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Resident Evil 7 was a great horror game and was quite well received from both critics and players. It really felt fresh and new and was also spooky.

  8. NBA 2K17

Quite surprising to see a sports game on this list that is not FIFA. This game is the best Basketball experience you can get in a game and that shows here.

  9. Injustice 2

A much-awaited game that had a lot of hype that actually delivered. A very fun game with a great story and lot of single player content to keep you busy in case you want to practice your skills before heading into online with a hero/villain that you’ve customised to your liking.

  10. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Call of Duty seems to have beaten Battlefield in 2017 in terms of revenue. People would argue that Battlefield 1 is better but this proves that this did better in general.
