Looking back, I am surprised at how many games I was able to play and complete this year, and also how many of them were actually great. Sure, it’s easy to pick holes in even the best of them, but 2017 was truly one of the best years in Video Game history. I tried to trim list list down to 10, but I just couldn’t bring myself to cut down on the games I had an absolute blast with. Even after removing games like Cryptark, Sniper Elite 4 and Endless Space 2 (which I am managing to subtly sneak in by mentioning them here), the list just wouldn’t go below 25. With 2017 almost at its end, it’s time for those Game of the Year lists to start rolling out. It has been an incredible year for gaming, and nobody’s top 10 is going to look perfect. With so many great games out this year, one can easily do a top 50 list of great games and still not encompass all of them. 2017 has been a year with a bunch of really good game releases and with half the year over(time flies!) let’s take a look at the top selling games of 2017 until now based on revenue. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildland I’m honestly quite surprised to see this game up here but hey it’s a pretty cool game to play along with your friends to try and tame the wild lands. For Honor Another Ubisoft titles, For Honor was quite a different take on a medieval warfare type game with its mechanics and characters. Not sure how active the player base is now though. Set in icy territories to the north, this new chapter of Aloy’s journey adds a new area to explore, new mysteries to uncover and new, highly lethal machines to take on. Today, the developers were happy to share that the release date for Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is November 7th, 2017.
