Big Game Releases Before The Year Ends

Big Game Releases Before The Year Ends

This year has been a good year for games, then again every year is….as far as 2014 is concerned saal abhi baaki hai and with that note we’re giving you five games that we just cannot wait to get our hands on.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

This is the one that will feature Halo: Combat Evolved anniversary version with updated graphics and Halo 2 will be receiving the same treatment. Halo 3 and 4 are included in this deadly package as well, but will not be as refined as Halo: CE and Halo 2. This game also welcomes the return of of the Halo Multiplayer with maps spanning across all the 4 games and will run on dedicated servers, plus beta access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer and exclusive access to the upcoming Halo TV series.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity

How can we not be waiting for this game, it probably taught us a lot more about world history than our teachers. After playing countless hours of Black Flag, it goes without saying that we are just dying for this game to come out. The game is set in the French Revolution and new element that sets it aside from its predecessors is that it involves 4 protagonists. The video clearly tells us of the sort of work that has gone into making a game of such great detail. This new intricate and nuance gameplay will allow gamers to fully immerse themselves in the story.  And if you watch the trailer closely you’ll find that there is less of the “leap of faith” and more of a calculated guess when it comes to scaling down buildings. I just wish I could go to sleep and wake up in November.

Sunset Overdrive

Based on what I’ve seen at E3 and Youtube, this game looks really really fun and entertaining to play. Its just a decent amount of fun to watch, even if you aren’t playing the game. It has some really interesting characters running around making cool weapons.  What really worries me is that I haven’t seen any gameplay videos yet, which makes me slightly anxious about how the actual game would compare against the CGI trailers. Console exclusive games do not generally excite me, but this is one exception.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

One thing that was glaringly obvious in the trailer for this one–Kevin Spacey!! Leaving cast alone, we are excited about the gameplay with the exoskeleton and it’s abilities for jumping higher and cloaking you, plus those gloves that allow you to climb walls. Just a few more months for us to see what they have in store for us.

The Crew

This game has a lot riding on it with the hype its built up over time. The developers have put in a lot of hard work in recreating the entirety of North America for you to drive around, it will approximately take you 2 hours to drive from one coast to the other – that’s pretty freaking huge! In this game you can form your own ‘crews’ consisting of your friends and race together or compete online against others. The car customisation looks incredible too, allowing you to build your vehicles from scratch.

Far Cry 4

Ubisoft are taking things up a notch by bringing the game here to our very own Himalayas this time around and needless to say its drop dead gorgeous. We’ve mentioned before that you can ride elephants and gyrocopters, jump from one vehicle to another in order to kill someone and steal their car. And then perhaps jump off a cliff and wingsuit-glide to our next destination. Isn’t that what we usually want from a Far Cry game, hell yeah!!

So there you have it, a few games that I really want to play as soon as possible. There are just so many games that are out there that are worth mentioning but I’ll leave that for you’ll to put in the comments below. So tell us which games you’ll are waiting for…
