Looking Back At 10 Years Of Assassin’s Creed

What begun as a simple video game franchise back in November 2017, went on to become a universe in itself that comprises movies, comics, novels and uncountable fans. And just when thought that the future of the series was dull, Ubisoft unveiled Assassin’s Creed Origins, the game that gave a new spur of life to the series with its revamped gameplay mechanics and the vast open world of Ancient Egypt. Assassin’s Creed introduced a new genre of games with Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad on the last generation of consoles, a genre where the player can climb on top of almost anything and discover historic locations. Initially, Assassin’s Creed was supposed to be a spin-off title of Prince of Persia where the players would take charge of a female Assassin who would have protected the p...

All Assassin’s Creed Games Ranked From Best To Worst

Assassin’s Creed has come a long way since it first released over ten years. It has given us beloved characters, cherished moments. and also a ton of frustration. So we’ve decided to rank all of the games in the franchise from best to worst, and see what that looks like. Also, this is my personal opinion, which is obviously the only correct opinion to have. Also remember that there are around 15 of these games now, and none of us probably never played them all, so don’t come here telling me that Black Flag was the best. It wasn’t. Anyways, enjoy the list, and do let me know that you strongly disagree. Assassin’s Creed Revelations Revelations was the series’ high point for me. The game just closes on such a strong note, and has tons of exciting stuff alon...

You Might Not See Another Assassin’s Creed Till 2018

Assassin’s Creed franchise probably won’t see a release next year. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that we might not see the next iteration before 2018.   In an interview with GameSpot, Guillemot said that the publisher has “an opportunity to take the series to another level.” They will be putting the time to good use to make the experience fantastic. “There’s a huge potential in this game to revolutionise the IP, so we said, ‘Let’s make sure we change our model so we have more time and that we can bring back a greater experience.'” When asked about what sort of time frame we were looking at, he replied saying that the franchise will return when it’s ready. In case you forgot the rocky start Unity had during it’s launch then you might want to ...

Latest Assassin’s Creed Unity Patch Removes The Need For Companion App

Ubisoft has released a new patch for Assassin’s Creed Unity which unlocks the rewards previously tied to the game’s companion app and Initiates web service. The patch is available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Initially players needed to download and play Unity’s mobile/tablet app to unlock the blue chests that cover the main game’s map. These contain in-game money and new equipment, as well as the custom outfit of Assassin’s Creed 1 hero Altair. Many players were not happy with the idea of content in the main game being locked away in this manner. The new patch also removes the need to log into Ubisoft’s Initiates web service which was made to track your progress through the entire Assassin’s Creed Series. As a player would level up, the gold chests dotted over the main Unity map would unlock...

Assassin’s Creed Unity Dead King’s DLC

It’s been a while since we have other something from Ubisoft about Assassin’s Creed Unity. They did get off to a rocky start during the games launch with way too many issues with the game. Overtime Ubisoft managed to fix those issues with constant patches being released. However, to make up for that disastrous launch Ubisoft said that the Dead King’s DLC was going to be complimentary for those who bought the game, and for those who got the season pass Ubisoft offered a free game.   In the trailer above you see what the expansion has to offer. Follow Arno as he explores the city of Saint-Denis and its extensive, open world underground. Assassin’s Creed Unity In Real Life

Even if you are not an Assassin’s Creed fan, this is something that would interest you as a photographer. This just happens to be a cross of just those two things, which makes it all the more exciting for me to write this piece. Damien Hypolite is just your average guy who works for Sciences et Avenir, not to mention is nothing short of an innovate photographer. I have tried to look him up and see some of his other stuff but have not been able to. However these few pictures that you are about to see should give you more than a decent idea of what he likes doing. Photo Credit: Damien Hypolite It is quite amazing how Ubisoft has managed to recreate Paris in the way they did and incorporate it into the game that is Assassin’s Creed Unity. Know Your Game: Assassin’s Creed Unity

So we’re continuing our “Know Your Game” segment with arguably one of the most anticipated game releases of the year–Assassin’s Creed Unity. The hype created around this game was immense and many were wondering whether it would live up to the standard set by Black Flag. Even before the game was released people had a fair idea as to what they were going to get from Ubisoft. No amount of trailers or pictures could emphasize enough how gorgeous this game actually looks. The size of the game is another aspect all together, it might looks smaller to Black Flag’s map due to its extensive nature but is just as rich and interactive, if not more. Anyway, why don’t you head on over to the video to check out our impressions of the game.   The mission tha...
