Ubisoft At E3 2017: What’s Confirmed/Expected

With E3 right around the corner and with the hype for it being at a maximum why not talk about what we can expect from certain Studios and what we would like to see from then. Today’s post is all about Ubisoft but nothing about their logo change. So let’s start off with the most anticipated game. Assassins’ Creed Origins Assassins’ Creed Origin or whatever might be the final name, is the series’ return after being on hiatus for a year following the release of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Ubisoft explained that they were taking a year off to iron out issues and deliver a more complete and better game to the fans. The main Assassins’ Creed series has until now always traveled to the future in every iteration but Origins takes it back to Ancient Egypt,...

Assassin’s Creed Origins Gold Edition Leak!

Mere days before E3 we have another Assassin’s Creed leak. This time it’s a reservation card for the Gold Edition of the game which features the base game along with the deluxe pack plus the season pass and a steelbook. Reserving the game itself gives access to a bonus mission titled ” Secrets of The First Pyramids”. This seems to be a legit leak even though the Ubisoft logo is the older one. However, it could be that the card was printed before the logo change and sent out to Target stores. In the words of the assassins, “Nothing is true” so we will have to wait and find out if this leak is true or not. Top 10 Video Game Remasters We Really Want To See Happen

We all have fond memories of the games that we used to play as kids but sometimes when we go back to play them again they just don’t hold up that well. So here’s a list of Top 10 Games that we really need HD Remasters of. Chrono Trigger Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPGs you can play but don’t let that 16bit art style fool you. Originally released in 1995 on the SNES it was received with extremely positive responses. Made by a team of the best RPG makers of that era, the game still holds up really well. Eventhough it has been ported to the PS1, DS and mobile devices I and a lot of fans would love a remake of it in the style of the FF7 remake. If you haven’t played this game already, I highly recommend that you do. Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3 We all know the whol...

Ubisoft Announces Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak for iOS & Android

Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak, the first brand in the Tom Clancy’s video game series to be developed specifically for mobile devices. Developed by Ubisoft Halifax, Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak is a real-time multiplayer sniper shooter that features fast-paced action, tactical decision-making, international arenas and real-world weapons. True to the series’ DNA, Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak imagines a near-future scenario where disparate criminal and radical factions, known as Shadow Nations, pose a new threat to global stability. Seizing the territory of sovereign countries through a coordinated series of attacks, these Shadow Nations have taken entire populations hostage overnight. To combat this sudden threat, elite marksmen trained in unorthodox warfare and counter-insurgency are g...

Why you should start playing The Division

Many had lost hope on the division just a month after its release, and rightly so. The bugs, the lack of content and the servers being down most of the time. I, being one of those people who had a lot of expectations left my controller in just a few days. Now a year later I can’t seem to get myself away from the game.So here is why I picked it up and why I think everyone should again. The Devs recently dropped the 3rd dlc called last stand and with it patch 1.6. The AI is now tougher and meaner. You will need a group of four that’s well-coordinated to take on the new legendary difficulty that they’ve added. There has been an addition of 3 more areas in the dark zone expanding the area for PvP play. There are now exotic gears and weapons which are a must to grind for. Both in the dark zone ...

Hack Doggy Style: Watch Dogs 2 Review

Ubisoft sure has learned a thing or 17 from it’s past failures, and Watch Dogs 2 is a culmination of all that learning, without rectifying all of the mistakes. Right off the bat, the game sets the tone for a vibrant, pop culture, social media and internet trends-driven cyber society, and puts you in the shoes of a young, very millennial hacker, Marcus Holloway. And that in itself shows how much Ubisoft wants to get away from the baggage that the franchise has from the first game in the series. Instead of a whiny-little-cunt of a protagonist, plodding through a drab city, we have a young fella, who just wants to gain social media followers, and bring about digital justice across the world. And the world in itself, set in San Francisco, is a colorful and rather accurate (and at times e...

Ubisoft Working on a Rabbids & Mario Crossover for Switch Launch

Recently, it was confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will no longer be a Nintendo Switch launch title, and that the next Mario game might mark the release for Nintendo’s big device. It’s possible that we know what that game might be, after all. According to a report by LetsPlayVideoGames, the Switch will launch alongside a turn-based RPG which is possibly a Raving Rabbigs x Mario crossover, currently under development by Ubisoft. There is no official title yet, but the codename/working title for the game seems to be Mario RPG: Invasion of the Rabbids. The game is closely monitored by Nintendo to ensure that it’s ready by the launch day and adheres to the Mario maker’s specifications regarding the depiction of Mario characters and assets.
