Nier Automata’s Developer Talks About His Favorite PS4 Games

In a recent interview with Nier Automata’s developer, he was asked to recommend some of his favorite PlayStation 4 games, here’s what he had to say: Hello, my name is YOKO TARO. Sony Japan Studios Working On Multiple New Games, New IPs and Sequels Coming Soon

Sony Japan Studios has many great games under it’s belt like Bloodborne, Gravity Rush, Knack, Shadow of the Colossus, Ape Escape, The Last Guardian etc. But it won’t be taking a break as they are working on multiple games, new IPs and sequels like Knack 2, Shadow of the Colossus Remake, Everybody’s golf etc. In a recent interview with IGN, the Senior Vice President Allan Becker said- “At Japan Studio I think we have a lot of talented people, but for whatever reason I think we fell behind in terms of technology, and that started way back in the PS2 days and PS3, Japan Studio wasn’t producing that many titles. The Last Guardian Delayed, Again

Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Last Guardian has been delayed once more. Now the game is scheduled to release on 6th December in the US, 7th December in Europe and 9th December in Ireland and the UK. Sony’s showcase at E3 2016 was a huge success, and nothing short of a spectacle. And how could it be? With a live orchestra, gorgeous games and huge titles, it was everything we expected it to be, and more. But there’s one small thing that seems to have slipped most people’s attention. Apart from Horizon: Zero Dawn, most the games that Sony announced are still “in development for PS4”. The Last Guardian: First Preview & 2016 Release Date Confirmed

After a delay of 10 years, with the game’s existence in doubt for a while there, Sony had finally showcased more gameplay footage from the Last Guardian. And now, right before E3, Edge Magazine has published an article on it’s hands preview with the game, detailing gameplay information, with confirmation regarding its 2016 release date. The article, from Issue 294, also includes an interview with Fumito Ueda, the lead designer, who states excitement and worry regarding the game’s release: “Since this is the year we will see the game’s release, I do have some worries, but I’m also very excited.” New gameplay mechanics have also been detailed, such wielding a mirrored shield to reflect a beam of light that inflicts damage.
