Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades Now Available
Beginning today, Final Fantasy XV players can band together and join the Kingsglaive elite force in the game’s first ever online multiplayer expansion, “Comrades.” Taking place after the events of Chapter 13 in the main game, Comrades puts fans in the shoes of the remaining survivors of the Kingsglaive as they fight to restore the Light to the world during Noctis’s absence. To commemorate the release of the expansion, a new game update was also implemented recently allowing players to accept multiple hunt quests at one time and adding new cooking recipes. In Comrades, players can create and customize their own avatar and partake in epic quests in a world engulfed by darkness. Final Fantasy XV fans will soon be able to uncover the untold story surrounding Ignis’s battle against Leviathan during the events of the main game. Today’s newly released trailer, titled “Episode Ignis,” teases some of the challenges he faces and the battles he endures while protecting the crown prince, Noctis. Slated for release on December 13, the newest DLC episode allows players to experience a brand-new storyline from the perspective of Ignis, featuring new music from legendary composer Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears). Final Fantasy XV x Assassin’s Creed Origins Collaboration Announced
In what started almost three years ago at an informal meeting during the Tokyo Game Show to express admiration for each other’s work, the Assassin’s Creed and Final Fantasy XV development teams have announced a collaboration that will result in the two franchises paying homage to each other’s gaming universes. The two teams marked the announcement with a piece of artwork unveiled at this year’s Gamescom that features Bayek from Assassin’s Creed Origins and Noctis from Final Fantasy XV. We knew it was going to happen, it was just a matter of time. And it seems like the wait is getting shorter. Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will indeed be coming to the PC in 2018. Don’t believe us, check out the trailer below: The PC version of the game will have 4K textures, will support Dolby Atmos, and be heavily laden with NVIDIA GameWorks effects, including NVIDIA HairWorks, NVIDIA Flow, NVIDIA VXAO and more. Summer in Eos has arrived at last, as the new July update for Final Fantasy XV is available as a free download, introducing Magitek Exosuits for each member of Noctis’ crew, a new quest and more to the critically-acclaimed RPG.
