Battlefield 2142 Comes Back To Life With Fan-made “Revive” Project
If you’re a hardcore Battlefield fan, you must be familiar with the Revive project for Battlefield 2. The project came up after the official EA servers were shut down, because a group of fans wanted to continue playing their favourite game. Now, since the past few months, the Revive team has been working on a project: Battlefield 2142. That’s right. The servers for the futuristic FPS have been shut of for a few years, but the game has made a great, albeit unofficial comeback on Friday. Dan Vaderlind has confirmed that his next project is going to be the next Battlefield game, since Star Wars: Battlefront Project is concluded! This is actually not very surprising as a news, as the latest installment in the Battlefield series, Battlefield Hardline was managed by Visceral games. The last Battlefield game DICE developed was Battlefield 4 in late 2013. Here is the information he provided: In Walker Assault, vehicles are tied to the power up system. Battlefield Hardline Official Gameplay Launch Trailer
With the Battlefield Hardline release right around the corner, Electronic Arts and Visceral Games just came out with the official launch trailer. The trailer does its job by setting up the game’s cops-and-robbers story and also features some of its new features, including zip-lines and more. EA Access members on Xbox One need not wait till the 17th of March to play Hardline, they can starting playing the game from the 12th for a total of 10 hours. Battlefield Hardline Resolutions Revealed
Visceral Games has confirmed the resolution details for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the upcoming cops-and-robbers multiplayer shooter. Just as was done with Battlefield 4, the PS4 edition will output a higher resolution than the Xbox One. 2016’s Battlefield To Go Back To Military-Style Roots
As most of you know, a 2016 Battlefield game was announced last month and the franchise plans to return to their military focused root which is what the series is best known for quite unlike the cops-and-robbers Battlefield Hardline. EA CFO Blake Jorgensen made the comment today during the 2014 UBS Global Technology Conference. He said he has already seen the game and it is shaping up to be a “fun, new Battlefield. Battlefield 4’s Final Stand DLC Release Date Confirmed
Battlefield 4’s final expansion, which I find so appropriately named “Final Stand” is releasing on the 18th of November according to the announcement made by Electronic Arts announced on its blog. The Final Stand DLC includes four arctic-themed maps and new, futuristic weapons. Battlefield 4 premium members get their hands on the content first before its out for the public on the 2nd of December. Final Stand features four maps–Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Hangar 21, and Giants of Karelia, all of which take place in wintry environments. Another aspect that is brought to the fore-front is the near-future weapons/gadgets such as a DS-3 DECOY gun attachment that emits false blips on enemies’ mini-maps and the XD-1 Accipiter, a remote-controlled, LMG-equipped drone.

Gamers will find themselves in the middle of a crime filled single player story as Miami is entangled in a drug war and Officer Nick Mendoza has just made detective. Along with this partner, detective Khai Minh Dao, he narrows down the drug supply to the root of its source. In an interesting case the two detectives will come to realize that power and corruption can affect both sides of the law. In multiplayer, everything is quite simple, as you’re on one side of the law or the other. But either way, teamwork is going to be essential if you’re going to want to pull off that perfect heist or big time bust in this new take on Battlefield multiplayer.
