UPDATE: Here’s their new year surprise It looks like the Batman Arkham franchise will be taking center stage once again as game developer Warner Bros. teased fans with a picture which asked to check back on the 31st of this month. The official Batman Arkham Facebook page teased this week that a “special announcement” will be made on December 31–New Year’s Eve. “Visit this page on December 31st for a special announcement…more details to come next week!,” they added. There is a chance that this message is teasing the story focused DLC for Origins which is to come out sometime early next year. Or it could have something to do with the Rocksteady Studios’ rumored next-gen Arkham game. Source: Eddie Makuch
Mark Hamill last year, announced that he would be stepping back from the role of Joker in the Batman Arkham games, and caused a great amount of worry among fans. But versatile voice over artist Troy Baker has stepped up to the plate and done more than just deliver, cause Baker’s Joker is just….just…..just…you know what, take a look for yourself and tell us the word we’re looking for in the comments below During a Batman: Arkham Origins panel at this year’s New York Comic Con, voice actor Troy Baker recited a Joker’s monologue from Alan Moore’s graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke.
Coming soon to iOS and Android (Holiday 2013), Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment are proud to announce the mobile edition Batman: Arkham Origins. WB Montreal are really starting to build up the hype for their last installment of the Arkham series. If you ask me, I’d say this hype is quite essential for this game to be a success. Following up after games like Splinter Cell, Killzone Mercenary, Metro: Last Light, FIFA’14 and most importantly, GTA V, isn’t going to be an easy task. The publication team has definitely got their work cut out for them and need to utilize all their resources to the best of their abilities. New screenshots of Batman: Arkham Origins reveal Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Commissioner James Gordon, also known as Batgirl or Oracle. The rest are just of Batman doing his thing….stalking.
In lieu of the highly anticipated ‘Arkham: Origins‘, Warner Brothers have put together a pack which includes the first two games in the series, plus their DLC’s. 4. Zack isn’t stupid We all know Sucker Punch wasn’t the best of his movies, and we have right reason to believe that he may screw this one up too. But we tend to forget that he has been learning from Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer and it was with their help that he portrayed a very interesting, and in my opinion, a rather unique spin on Superman. He seemed to have a knack for for portraying stories. ‘Man of Steel’ was a good movie, after all it was of Kent finding his way in this world, not pun intended, and I think he did a good job in making the audience feel the detachment and alienation he felt. 4. He’ll work behind the scenes Affleck isn’t that sort of an actor who just does the bare minimum required, but actually gives a lot of input ...
As if there wasn’t enough hype about Superman and Batman starring in the same movie, and then have Bale declining a 50 million dollar deal, we are now faced with the suspense of who would be cast as the next Batman. And the world was quite shocked, some would even say disappointed, when Ben Affleck chosen as the next Batman. The net was circling with negative comments about how he wont be able to do a good job and also how he didn’t do a convincing job as comic character in the past. We’ll admit that Daredevil wasn’t one of his best movies, but I don’t think we are giving this actor the credit he is due. Here are just 8 of the many reasons why I think he could potentially do a good job as the next Batman- 8. He won’t be taking this one lightly In Novembe...
After hearing the news that Rocksteady Studios would no longer be bringing us the last installment of the Arkham Series, many gamers around the world were a bit apprehensive about it. Warner Montreal only had a very small role of developing the ports for the previous games and now were given the mammoth task of literally the whole game. However, after seeing the trailers that they have come out with, we can safely say that faith has been restored. The game stays true to its comic-origins and fast paced action. Looks like Warner Montreal took this task up as a challenge and have really gone through with it and are giving us what we want. From the trailers we can not only see that this is going to be an epic game, but we also see certain aspects that were taken from Nolan’s Batman Tri...
WB Games Montreal and DC have released their most recent trailer of the Batman Arkham franchise, titled “Nowhere to Run”. This trailer promises gamers to expect virtually the same fast paced fighting that they got in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and also reveals the extremely versatile, ‘Firefly’. We first heard about Firefly when it was rumored that this villain was going to appear in the game’s multiplayer mode which will allow gamers to control a member of Joker or Bane’s gang while battling Batman and Robin. The villains named included Killer Croc, Firefly, Black Mask, Deadshot and Deathstroke. We did write an article on the 4 reasons Origins may be a fail, but after watching this trailer, we’re sorta having our own doubts. Batman: Arkham Ori...
So Folks! It is not always that you cover a game more than a year after its launch but that’s the beauty of Open World games specially if it has Batman 🙂 So we compiled 3 tips which will enhance your experience as the caped crusader. 1) Get into fistfights. One of the beauties of development studio Rocksteady’s Batman series is that you can button-mash through it and have a good time, but you can have an even better time fighting through each skirmish with the precision you’d normally reserve for playing a rhythm game. The best way to get that rhythm is to practice, practice. So send Batman down to the streets and make him punch people in the face. Or the ribs. Or the back. Or put his foot in their gut, on their jaw. Etc. Check out this fun video created just for you Guy...
Gears of War The visuals are pretty awesome, the story is good, and the cover based third person combat is phenomenal. What more do you really need? Halo Which gamer hasn’t spent hours on this game playing against his buddies on campaign mode. With quite large maps and really awesome weapons, this game isn’t one you would want to miss. Batman: Arkham City Coming from a large franchise, the game lives up to its expectation. With one of the larger gaming environments, this game has engaging combat and brilliant visuals. BioShock Although this game doesn’t have the best graphics, it surely makes up for that in the insane story line it possesses. The ending takes you by surprise, and you’ll never see it coming. And again, a very large and rich environment for gamers to explor...
Origins is lining up to be one the most anticipated games of this year, and it has good reason to be.The deadly Copperhead is the new assassin that was revealed. This assassin promises to be extremely agile and quite vulpine in nature. Following a line of large environment set games, filled with loads of action, Origins does seem to shy away from that tradition. In fact, this video proves just that…
