According to reports by Vice and Gameblog, Sony will officially unveil and upgraded Playstation 4 at an event in September. Both reports state that the event is currently scheduled to be held in New York on 7th September, 2016, putting it just in time for the Tokyo Game Show, which kicks off on 15th September. Further details about the event and any announcements haven’t been revealed yet. The PlayStation Plus games on June 2016 have not yet been announced, but Sony may have unintentionally leaked two of the games for the PS4. The leak come by way of the monthly newsletter that Sony sends to PlayStation Network users. The games listed on the newsletter include NBA 2K16 and Gone Home, both of which are PS4 games. While there is the possibility of this being a simple mistake, both of these games would make great choices for PS Plus. Fail0verflow, the hacking group responsible for hacking Wii, Wii U and the Playstation have now revealed what appears to be a hack for the Playstation 4. You can watch the video below which shows the console running off a Linux UI, and then shows it running a modded version of Pokemon Emerald. Fail0verflow has made the PS4 Linux port publicly available on its website. The PlayStation 4 had been hack-free for two years since it’s release, though hints of low-level hacks had been revealed before. Fallout 4 is down to being days away. Fans are counting down the time until they can get their hands on one of the most anticipated games of the generation. Leading up to the game’s release is a collection of screenshots leaked from the PlayStation 4 version of the game. All Games Beta managed to get their hands on a collection of screenshots from the PlayStation 4 version of Bethesda Softworks’ upcoming Fallout 4. The screenshots take place early on in the game when players first start off, right before the nuke hits and right after the nuke hits. PlayStation has unveiled a new live-action trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront on its YouTube channel. The video features a battle taking place on Hoth, with TIE Fighters and AT-AT walkers making appearances. While the trailer does have a disclaimer stating that the footage shown is “not actual gameplay,” there are some neat special effects employed, as well as a throwback to long-time loyal Star Wars fans. The first teaser of the Sega’s game Yakuza 6 has emerged online via YouTube user Nammo.The trailer features reknown Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano, who is confirmed to be in the game.
