Here are some highlights from the press conference : The Outer Worlds Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division, it is due for release on October 25. Set in a space colony in the farthest reaches of space, Halcyon, the game imagines a dystopian future where corporations own and run everything and late stage capitalism reigns supreme. New XBOX Coming 2020, Includes Base Console & Cloud Gaming Device?

During their E3 2018 press conference, Microsoft had said that they are indeed working on a new Xbox console and also figuring out their Cloud Gaming Platform. One would have expected to see a new console in the next few years, with the cloud service coming in much later once the infrastructure was in place. As it turns out, Microsoft seems to have a very different plan altogether. Brad Sams, who has been accurate in his previous coverage of inside information about Microsoft and what they are working on, has now reported that Microsoft plans to release not one, but two consoles. One of them will be a traditional console as we all are familiar with. The second will be a less-powerful cloud gaming device that makes use of streaming to play games. The unofficial code name for now is Scarlett...

The Big Three Giants In The Video Game Industry Keep Making Mistakes

The video industry is driven by three big giants; Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Well, at least Sony and Microsoft undoubtedly, while Nintendo is like that cool kid who doesn’t need any comrades. If you ponder back at the revelation of Xbox One with a Kinect that nobody desired, it was a direct effect of the commercial success of Xbox 360. But on the contrary, I presume that 360 was rather more successful than One with its array of first party games and introduction to motion gaming. Motion gaming was something which was quite impressive at the time but soon lost its charm, yet Microsoft could not let go of the Kinect. In addition to that, there are just are just a handful of games for One’s Kinect. Then you’ve got Sony, who thought it would be a great idea to price the PS...

Xbox Boss Says Gamers Want More Graphics, Single Player Games Not Dead

With the Xbox One X set to release in a month, and being touted as the most powerful console ever built, it’s clear that Microsoft want to make a statement when it come to the visual fidelity of the games running on their platform. However the statement they made sends mixed messages, and seemed to skirt around the fact that they haven’t been delivering the best looking games thi generation so far. In an interview with Gamespot, Shannon Loftis, who heads Xbox Publishing for first-party games had a lot to say about single player games, and what gamers want from their games. Remarking about all the talk of the death of big AAA single player titles, she had this to say. “I don’t think that it’s dead per se,” Loftis said “I do think the economics of ta...

Shenmue 1 and 2 Coming to PS4 and Xbox One?

Earlier today, Bayonetta and Vanquish were listed by a bunch of online retailers. Those same retailers have also listed Shenmue 1 and 2 for both, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but have since taken it down.  Some websites had it listed for €49,99 while some for €59.90, which could just be place holders. With Shenmue III currently in the works, this would be the best time to remaster and re-release the cult classics for both, the old players who want it on new systems and for the new players to experience the games. Another online retailer from the Czech Republic has the same Bayonetta and Vanquish pack listed for the Xbox One with no release date on this website from what I can tell.   Register with us for the best in gaming, and join us for video game discussions on our forums.
