In what started almost three years ago at an informal meeting during the Tokyo Game Show to express admiration for each other’s work, the Assassin’s Creed and Final Fantasy XV development teams have announced a collaboration that will result in the two franchises paying homage to each other’s gaming universes. The two teams marked the announcement with a piece of artwork unveiled at this year’s Gamescom that features Bayek from Assassin’s Creed Origins and Noctis from Final Fantasy XV. Attendees at the show also had opportunity to get the artwork signed by Ashraf Ismail, game director at Ubisoft Montreal, and Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy XV. However, eagle-eyed fans may want to go back and look at a Final Final Fantasy XV trailer from November of last year, the Assassin’s Creed...

Ubisoft has revealed a new 19-minute gameplay video of a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Origins running on Xbox One X. The new side mission looks really interesting, with various stages to it and meaningful objectives. It’s good to see Ubisoft toning down on random fetch quests and repetitive mission design, and I hope that this remains true for the rest of the game. Assassin’s Creed Origins is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27. Register with us for the best in gaming, and join us for video game discussions on our forums.

After 4 months of it’s release the game has now been cracked by the crackers who call themselves the steampunks. The game had the 3 denuvo variant. It is clear that denuvo is not a fan favorite. Recently some developers also removed denuvo from their games like Titanfall 2, Mass Effect Andromeda etc. [interaction id=”5976f59f3f3b30a279175032″] Will this bring a change? Far Cry 5 is on the horizon and we are trying to grab any new piece of information that we can get about the game. With this new game in Far Cry franchise Ubisoft is trying to recapture the excellence that they did with Far Cry 3, there are many changes being made in the game. And I think this game is going to be the the most unique Far Cry game in the franchise. In a recent interview with the lead writer Drew Holmes, he stated- “We really wanted to focus on exploration with a sense of, ‘I’m not sure what to do or where to go’. The removal of the mini map was so you’re not staring at a little corner of your screen saying, ‘what’s new in the world?’ You’ve got to actually pay attention to the world and the art side is doing a good job of making sure there are good landmarks to orient yourse...

We covered the top showings at E3 2017 and now we’re covering the disappointments from E3. This is all based on my personal opinion, which will differ from yours so please, don’t come at me with your pitchforks. Nintendo Metroid Prime 4 Nintendo had a pretty great conference, probably the best conference this year so choosing a disappointing announcement was kinda hard. This was extreme nitpicking but they announced Metroid Prime 4 with what was essentially a gif of the title of the game. It hyped everyone up for sure but then we have nothing else, no images or screenshots or alpha footage or anything. Sony Monsters of the Deep Okay, what? No seriously, why even announce this? A Final Fantasy Fishing game for the VR because apparently, people’s fantasy is to fish. Microso...
After for some reason showcasing Assassin’s Creed Origins during Microsoft’s Press Conference I wasn’t sure what Ubisoft was going to have to actually showcase that would hype people up or make the crowd go wild. I don’t think that would’ve happened either way but we did get a new IP that’s a full blown Pirates game so that’s cool. Anyway, here’s the highlights from Ubisoft’s Press Conference which did NOT include Aisha Tyler. Beyond Good and Evil 2 15 years have passed and they finally announced this game. And the internet collectively lost their shit. After looking forward to a game for so long to finally seek the answers of the cliffhanger ending of the first game, they go ahead and give us a prequel. But hey, a new Beyond Good and E...
