Assassin’s Creed Unity To Run At 720p On PS4

An official listing for Assassin’s Creed Unity at Sony Entertainment Network shows that the title is expected to run at 720p resolution on the PlayStation 4. It quite clearly says that the game outputs 720p HD.  This is so strange as the last game, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag ran at 1080p on the PlayStation 4. In addition to this Ubisoft confirmed in an interview with GamingBolt that they were targeting 1080p and 60fps on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now there is a chance that this listing may just be an error and the developers are still working on the final resolution or this is just the minimum resolution that is supported by the game. In any case,  we just hope that this isn’t true. Even Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition have their correct resolutions lis...

Ubisoft Releases ‘Riders of The Rustlands’ for Trials Fusion

Yesterday, Ubisoft released Riders of the Rustlands, the first of six planned downloadable content packs for Trials Fusion. Available now for Season Pass holders and at £3.99 for players without the Season Pass, Riders of the Rustlands brings new tracks, challenges, editor objects and achievements to Trials Fusion.   In Riders of the Rustlands, players will meet the forgotten people that live just outside the boundaries of Trials Fusion. Ubisoft Introduces Elise in a new Assassin’s Creed Unity Arno Trailer

Day before yesterday Ubisoft is released a new CGI trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity that shows Arno racing against time and through a dense and chaotic central Paris in order to prevent the beheading of Elise, a character central to Assassin’s Creed Unity’s story. As an independent young noblewoman, Elise is determined to secure her place in the Templar dynasty amidst the chaos of the French Revolution. Her quest leads her to cross paths with Arno and establish an unlikely bond with him.   In addition to the new trailer, Ubisoft is offering fans the chance to discover a novel by Oliver Bowden based on Assassin’s Creed Unity. This new paperback from Penguin Random House builds on Bowden’s past Assassin’s novels – with 3 million copies sold to date —  and examines an era when th...

Assassin’s Creed Unity Real-Life Parkour

The hype towards this game is getting to us now. Assassin’s Creed franchise has never failed to impress us, and now with the whole co-op mode, we can use not just one but four protagonists to get through the game. In the game you play as a master Assassin in the French Revolution, and for the first time you can play with your friends in 4-player co-op missions! You can also learn more about the Assassin’s Creed Unity Phantom Blade Collectible.   This video is pretty well done and shows you how’d parkour would take place in real life. These stunts are insanely hard and not to mention a little more than just dangerous to imitate. Parkour/Free-running stunts performed by Ronnie Shalvis and the French FreeRun Family. Make sure to check out their youtube and Facebook page...

Assassin’s Creed Unity Experience Trailer

Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed trailer, Unity is an experience materially different from anything Ubisoft has designed before. A truly immersive experience revolutionized by new-gen technologies and a next-gen engine that brings characters alive like never before possible. Is it visceral? You bet it is. The empty buzzwords may fly fast and furious in Ubisoft’s new “experience trailer,” but they’re paired with five minutes of exciting footage from Unity and some cool glimpses of the Anvil engine powering Assassin’s Creed. The scale of digital Paris is especially impressive. I don’t know if Notre Dame is a triumph of digital architecture, but I definitely want to climb it. Check out a few screens from the video 🙂

Assassin’s Creed Unity Preorder Packages

The sort of importance that is given to preorder bonuses and special edition items has always worked as a good strategy for selling products by companies. And now in the gaming sphere we can see this same concept, and we must say it is working pretty well. Assassin’s Creed Unity  has always made their goods so damn cool that people who don’t even play the game want a piece of it. This year, developer Ubisoft has created four different retailer-exclusive versions of Assassin’s Creed Unity, and each contains a unique weapon that cannot be acquired elsewhere (at least at launch). There will also be a Collector’s Edition that contains a number of real-world and in-game items. All preordered copies, regardless of their retailer, come with a code for a real-world spin-to-win sweepsta...

A New Assassin’s Creed Game To Come Out In The Summer

We’re all waiting for Unity to come out, but we’ve got some other news for you’ll to be excited about. The word going around is that there is a new Assassin’s Creed game and we expect it to launch summer. Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed: Memories today, an iOS card-battling game which is being developed by mobile studios GREE and PlayNext. This game primarily targets stuff like customization, time-traveling, and alliances, encouraging you to create your own Assassin and team up with people who complement your play style, which is a rather different approach to how the games have been working all these years. The focus has shifted to making your own character and strategy, according to GREE vice president Eiji Araki: “The card battle genre is all about...

Know Your Assassin: Arno Dorian

Arno Victor Dorian (1768 – unknown) was a French-Austrian Assassin active during the time of the French Revolution. An orphan who blamed himself for the death of his adoptive father, Arno sought redemption by joining the Assassins in 1789 and working to expose the true instigators of the Revolution. Biography Born to an Austrian mother and French father, Arno was raised in Versailles until his father was murdered in 1776, when Arno was eight years old; some time later, his adoptive father also died in a similar manner. Wracked by guilt and blaming himself, Arno sought out the Assassins to find redemption, helping those suffering similar injustice. Weapons and Skills Arno was a witty, brash and charismatic Assassin, but he was also known to be stealthy and ruthless. He wore a dark blue hood...

Assassin’s Creed Unity E3 2014 World Premiere Cinematic Trailer

By far one of the best trailers I’ve seen, just brilliant. If it were a trailer for a movie, I’d book tickets immediately. Set in 18th Century France, Assassin’s Creed Unity puts gamers right in the midst of the uproar of the French bourgeois retaliation. The game tells the story of Arno and the Brotherhood of Assassins as they struggle to uncover the dark forces manipulating the French Revolution. One of the main attractions of the game is the free-running option which allows you to virtually take on any obstacle that comes your way. So take to the streets, the rooftops, and the catacombs beneath the city alone or with up to three friends in the brand new co-op mode to make history and leave your mark on the French Revolution. Assassin’s Creed Unity is the next-gen...
