Top 5 Things Gamers Desperately Want Sony To Change About The Playstation

Despite having great games, and a significantly powerful console, the Playstation ecosystem does have major issues that gamers desperately want Sony to fix. While the great games, both exclusives, cross-platform titles and indies, go a long way in maintaining a healthy player base, both the Xbox and Steam on PC have done a better job of streamlining their platforms for the benefit of the players. Be it the refund policy, or backwards compatibility, there are areas where the Playstation needs to step up their game to really be for the players. Cross-Platform Play While Microsoft, Steam and even Nintendo have opened up their player bases to allow cross platform play across systems, Sony is stubbornly insistent on not allowing the same for the PSN network. While Sony’s ultimate reason f...

PlayStation 5 To Launch In 2019, Will Run Games At 240FPS?

Gamingbolt recently spoke to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, and asked him about the successor to the PS4. Pachter believes that the PS5 will be backward compatible with PS4 Pro (which also means that it will play base PS4 games) and it will probably release in 2019. He goes on to say: [interaction id=”595f3dd0f7ddd65e0bce07d9″] “I really like Shawn and I don’t think he is attempting to mislead anybody. The PlayStation 4 Pro is better [from a technical perspective] than the PS4, so I think that’s a half step towards the PlayStation 5. I think the PS5 will be another half step. So he is being honest when he said he is not doing a half step but the PlayStation 5…how much faster can it be? It will surely support 4K. Will it support 240 frames per second? Great. W...

Xbox Pokes Fun At Sony For Using Doctored Footage of Anthem

It seems like the console wars are on again and any misstep would cost a lot. Recently both Xbox and PlayStation had hosted a video of Anthem which is Bioware’s new IP on their YouTube channel. But Sony immediately removed the video from their channel, later it was found that they had used doctored footage from Xbox One X and changed the Xbox buttons prompts to PlayStation button prompts. Due to this mishap the marketing manager of Xbox, Aaron Greenberg, has tweeted-   Oops! ? https://t.co/RM89njbD8M — ✖️Aaron Greenberg✖️ (@aarongreenberg) July 3, 2017 The Marketing Manager is having fun with this story but on the other side there was no comment from Sony’s side, but it is clear that they might not be having fun with the story. Sony Japan Studios Working On Multiple New Games, New IPs and Sequels Coming Soon

And so with PS4, we’re really starting to build the technology back up.” Although he did not state any titles that they are currently working on but he did say-  “Wit...
