We have seen a ton of content from Battlefield 1 in the past few weeks, and it seems like the game has much more in store for us. As DICE claims, this may be the best single player campaign the company has ever made. It seems that the game may also feature what is the smallest gun in the history of guns. Known as the 2.7mm Kolibri Car Pistol, it fires a three grain projectile at about 650 feet per second, and was manufactured shortly before WW1. The production was ceased due to demand for military weapons for the war. However, the Battlefield 1 universe deems the gun fit for use in battle, and you can have it. The gun reminds us of the Noisy Cricket from Men In Black, but doesn’t seems to half as powerful. It seems fair, though, considering you won’t be fighting aliens in WW1. ...
On its Kickstarter page, developer Gin Media announced that their upcoming horror-fest, Friday the 13th: The Game has been delayed to 2017. The game was originally intended to release this year, but a delay means that the studio can now work on a single player mode. Additionally, offline bots can also be added along the multiplayer. The game will be released initially in Spring, with multiplayer maps. The single player, on the other hand, will be released later during the summer. Specific dates haven’t been announced for either launch. Here’s the catch, though. Everyone who has already contributed to the game’s Kickstarter page will get the single player experience for free. “The first thing people are going to read here is delay,” the announcement said. ̶...

So here it is, the GC list of the 5 best upcoming VR games (in no particular order, of course). Batman: Arkham VR Release Date: October 2016 Platform: PS VR Arkham: VR is a brand new take on the Arkham series (not a sequel, though), where you can be Batman. Finally, you can say AND mean the words “I’m Batman” (I mean, I’m Batman). The fascinating thing is that the game does not seem to be as action packed as the ori...

If you didn’t believe that PlayDead’s Inside was eerie enough, hold on to your seats ’cause it just became a lot creepier. It’s not just the game’s environment and story that will give you goosebumps, it’s the development in itself as well. In an article on Gamasutra that deals with a deep dive into the audio of the game, composer Martin Stig Andersen revealed that the game’s haunting soundtrack was recorded with the help of a human skull. No, not a fake one that you use as a Halloween prop, an actual human skull. “I had the basic idea of trying to recreate sounds as they would sound if they were happening inside your head,” Andersen wrote in the Gamasutra post. “That was the curious thought that led me to acquire a human skull an...
Mafia III, on of the most anticipate games of the year launched at midnight, and what followed was not only a little surprising but also a cause of dismay to a lot of users. The game is currently capped at 30 FPS, meaning no matter how powerful your hardware configuration is, you that highest framerate that you’ll achieve in the game is limited to 30. Naturally, the community who had been waiting for the game so expectantly is enraged by the situation, resulting in a lot of negative reviews for the game on Steam. As these reviews are mostly first impressions, it would be a little too early to say the game is bad just because of this issue. However, the devs do plan to deal with the FPS cap, indicated by the official Mafia III website: “We know how important having options that ...

It seems to be very different, and still somewhat similar to the city of Dunwall, where the first game took place. While talking about the game, Sebastien Mitton, the art director on the project explains, “Imagine how they think and how they survive in this district, that brought a lot of difference structures, like the wind br...
During a recent livestream for Gears of War 4, Rod Fergusson from The Coalition confirmed that the game is officially getting a movie. A collaboration between Microsoft and Universal, the movie is still in very early stages and according to Fergusson, they’re not ready to announce a director or writer for the project. No further details were shared regarding the movie. However, he did shed some light on the movie. Fergusson said that rather than copying over a story from the Gears game, their aim is to make the best Gears movie possible, whether it follows the story in the games or not. Earlier in July, when asked about the possibility of a movie, he said, “There is some stuff going on that I can’t talk about today, but I’ll possibly be talking about that stuff very...
