Though it hasn’t been long since NVIDIA launched the GTX 1080, they’re here with a new kid on the block – the Titan X, claimed to be twice as powerful as its previous model, and quite expensive. Source: Geforce.com The new Titan X will feature the same Pascal architecture as the 10 series, and will cost about USD 1200, which is almost twice the cost of the GTX 1080 (talk about absurd). Compared to the previous Titan X which had 3072 CUDA cores and 6 teraflops of performance speed, the new Titan X boasts of 3584 CUDA cores and 11 teraflops. Not surprisingly, with 12 GB DDR5X memory, this card will offer premium next gen VR experience, run all your games in 4k. In short, the new Titan X is a beast (bordering on overkill, really). The complete specifications can be found he...

NVIDIA has finally revealed their response to the RX 480, AMD’s high performance budget GPU – the GTX 1060. The card promises huge improvements, claimed by NVIDIA to be faster than the GTX 980 which comes at a price tag of about $400, while the GTX 1060 is said to cost only around $250. The GPU will have 1280 CUDA Cores, a base clock speed of 1.5 GHz with about 6 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8 Gbits/s. It will have about 4.4 Teraflops of computing power and is said to be VR ready with a TDP of only about 120 W. If the card delivers on what it promises, you can have a great GPU to run all your games in high settings without them straining your wallet. But while these specifications sound impressive on paper, we still need to find out how the card performs in real life and wheth...
The wait is over. NVIDIA’s little brother to the GTX 1080 is out and we couldn’t wait to try it out. The GTX 1070 is a little toned down version of the 1080, and hence more affordable as well. More and more people want to know about it as the GTX 1080 might shoot their budget out of the comfort zone, so here we are with a quick review for the GTX 1070. NVIDIA today unveiled a VR-ready program to help gamers navigate their way to great virtual reality experiences. The company has partnered with PC and notebook makers and add-in card providers to deliver “GeForce® GTX® VR Ready” systems and graphics cards that deliver an immersive VR gaming experience. The program minimizes confusion regarding which equipment is necessary to play the range of VR games and applications increasingly coming to market. Delivering a great VR experience demands seven times the graphics processing power of traditional 3D games and applications – driving framerates above 90 frames per second (fps) for two simultaneous images (one for each eye).1 “For customers, navigating an emerging technology like VR can be daunting,” said Jason Paul, general manager of emergin...

The GeForce GTX 960 is one of NVIDIA’s recently released graphics card (only the Titan X is more recent). With the GTX 960, NVIDIA brought their super power-efficient Maxwell architecture to the mainstream. This card is based on a new silicon codenamed GM206. NVIDIA’s third chip based on “Maxwell”, the GM206 is supposed to be a successor to the GK106 on which NVIDIA built the GeForce GTX 660. The new GTX 960, however, is meant to replace the GTX 660 and GTX 760 in the product stack as it offers slightly higher performance at much less power draw and noise, with greater room for price-cuts. It also brings some of the new features introduced with “Maxwell” to the masses, such as real-time voxel illumination, MFAA (multi-frame sampled anti-aliasing), Dynami...
