It all started back when he discovered Gaming by chance when a friend showed him GTA Vice City. And any gamer can predict what happened then. Pruthvi was instantly hooked! Knowing he didn’t want to stop there, he started exploring more video games.

Not having an arm is surely going to have an impact on anyone’s daily life, but Pruthvi says he hardly notices it anymore. On asked how he manages the co-ordination, this is how he responds, “Learning how to play games wasn’t really different than what is would probably be for others, I just had to get used to it like every other person who starts gaming and eventually I got better at it.

Did it take me long? I don’t know but I never gave up, I loved playing games and I loved getting better at it. Eventually I was kicking my friends collective asses which was fun! Now using the keyboard and mouse to play competitively is second nature to me, I like to think my timing, strategy and reaction time is good but practice makes better right and I definitely practice a lot, ask my parents!”

And his parents really have been very supportive. Seeing how much Gaming motivates, they encourage him and his team. They also make sure that Pruthvi maintains a healthy balance between his studies and video games.

They say that though they were a bit scared at how serious his passion for gaming became. Prithvi used to spend days and nights stuck in front of his computer but he never let it affect his studies and gave him something to be passionate about and they think a boy his age needs something like that.

With a new team that’s hungry to bite into big e-Sports tournaments, Pruthvi plans to compete to be at par with the best in world, and succeed at the highest level and make his parents and friends proud.

He says, “This place is my playground, my battlefield. Gaming is fun for some, it is a Passion for me.”
