Far Cry 4 developer Ubisoft Montreal has come out with a new campaign to support relief efforts in Nepal. A few days ago, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country, taking the lives of thousands and leaving many more injured as a result of the calamity. Ubisoft at the moment is asking for donations as part of the Nepal Region Earthquake Fund, which is managed by the Canadian Red Cross. The developer had a close connection to Nepal, as the company researched the country, its culture and its people as part of the work that went into making Far Cry 4. Far Cry 4’s Valley of The Yetis expansion is out now across console and PC platforms. This DLC sees players taking on the horrifying mythical beasts. There is new content that is out for Ubisoft’s open-world action game Far Cry 4. Ubisoft released the Escape from Durgesh Prison expansion, which is a time trial expansion that introduces permadeath to the game. The DLC is available today on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. In this expansion, lead characters Ajay and Hurk find themselves locked up in a prison, beaten up and stripped of their weapons. But if these chaps are known for anything that is to not give up. Far Cry 4 publisher Ubisoft seems to have sent out a survey of some sort to a few of its customers asking them what they would like to see in future Far Cry games. The questionnaire, which was brought to light by Eurogamer, has an assortment of scenarios for fans to either approve or dismiss. Some of the ideas include “a Far Cry game where you can fight against or join vampires”, and something like “a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic world”, and even “a Far Cry game set in the modern day on a Jurassic Park-style island with dinosaurs”.
