Jasmeet’s Top 10 Favorite Video Games Of 2017

2017 has been a wonderful year for games. We’ve seen numerous titles release this year, some disappointing, some meh, and others just downright incredible. Choosing the top 10 is never an easy task, because one has to put a lot of thought into the picks. Nevertheless, here are the ten titles I loved the most this year, for various reasons. They may not be the best games, but they sure left a mark on me, some in more ways than one. Also, I do not own a console and play all my games on the PC, so you won’t find any exclusive titles here. Without further ado, I present my top 10 games for the year 2017 (in no particular order, of course). Divinity: Original Sin 2 The eagerly anticipated sequel to the award-winning RPG. Gather your party. Master deep, tactical combat. Join up to 3 ...

Call of Duty WW2 My first console was a PS2 and it was a delight to take a nostalgic trip back to WW2 with Call of Duty in those pretty graphics. 4. Zelda Breath of the Wild I played this one on an emulator on my laptop. It was pretty buggy, yet it was so so enjoyable. 5. Divinity: Original Sin 2 A perfect blend of Story, environment and gameplay. 6. For Honor I always wanted to play as Viking and For Honor did a fantastic job. However, I’m not in favour of them removing ‘u’ from ‘honour’. #Britist_English_Rules 7. A...

Cuphead Is Going To Stay On The Xbox And PC Forever

Anyone hoping to get their hands on the recently released hit game Cuphead for the PS4? Well, you’re going to be disappointed by this news. The difficult, gorgeous looking platformer is going to stay exclusive to the Xbox and PC. The devs had confirmed this sometime ago, on NeoGAF: “Yes, this Cuphead game is exclusive to Xbox and PC (with Steam and Win10 versions at launch and a GOG release likely shortly after). There will likely be a Mac version down the road and possibly a Linux version beyond that (unless we lose our houses or whatever). “We own the Cuphead IP.” Note that Teeth is none other than Tyler Moldenhauer, digital painter and QA at StudioMDHR. Additionally, in a recent interview with GameSpot, Xbox Head Phil Spencer said that the version of Cuphead that...

Do Game Journalists Suck At Video Games?

When it comes to covering games, it’s often expected from journalists, critics, streamers, and let’s players that they would have a basic grasp of how most games work. And even when the genre is entirely new to them, you would expect them to be able to work through the tutorial by following instructions. Sadly, that wasn’t the case for Dean Takashi from VentureBeat’s gaming division, GamesBeat, who while recording a video of him playing Cuphead at Gamescom 2017, displayed a shocking lack of adeptness in and understanding of basic platforming. Have a look: What’s even more surprising is that the video was even published on YouTube, which just seems like sloppiness on their part. The internet was quick to point out their incompetence, however, not everyone was s...

Here’s Kate Upton Playing Cuphead With Conan (Clueless Gamer)

Yes, Cuphead is real and it’s in a box, and in the hands of real human beings. Shown only in small bits and pieces since since it was originally teased among a bunch of other Indie games on a sizzle reel, Cuphead has sparked the interest of millions of gamers. Recently it got a release date set for 29th September 2017. [interaction id=”596717d26d554e3e0de8030c”] And here’s Conan O’Brien from Clueless Gamer playing Cuphead with Kate Upton. The game is looking pretty cool, and the co-op seems like a lot of fun. They even had a custom avatar for Conan, which was neat touch. My only concern is that they’re still only showing boss fights primarily, I just hope the regular running around and smaller encounters are also just as fun. Register with us for the bes...

Cuphead Developers Quit Their Jobs And Mortgaged Their Houses To Make The Game

Cuphead is a game that has folks eagerly waiting because of how different and unique it is. It’s a side scrolling game with a bold 2D art style, which recalls classic, mid-20th-century animations, and engaging, tough boss battles catapulted Cuphead to everyone’s most anticipated list. It was showcased at E3 2014 with a release for 2015 but then it got delayed and is now scheduled to release in September 2017. But these delays were for the betterment of the game. “The reality is, Cuphead is closer now to the game we always wanted” explains Chad, speaking to GamesRadar+. “We aren’t throwing levels in to mollify people, we’re putting them back in after originally cutting them from our ‘dream scope.’” The problem with StudioMDHR initially being able to go through with its ori...

Exclusive to Console (But Also Coming to PC)

Console Exclusivity no longer seems to include PCs nowadays. While this might feel shady, and let’s face it, the games are exclusive to a console only because Microsoft or Sony ‘motivated’ the developers, so it’s not exactly gold standard practices, this means that PC gamers now get the windfall in terms of exclusive content. Let’s have a look at the upcoming no-longer-exclusives, shall we? Street Fighter V One of the world’s most played fighting games, Street Fighter V will not be coming to Xbox One. Capcom’s  Yoshinori Ono confirmed that the PS4 will be the only console that will have SFV, with emphasis on console, as it also comes to PC. And since Microsoft announced that Killer Instinct is also being ported over to PC, it kinda makes PC the mos...
