Destiny 2 Included Legendary Gauntlet With White Supremacist Logo

Bungie recently came a little under fire when people saw a pair of legendary gauntlets had the “Kek” logo on it. “Kek” for those unfamiliar with started off as a Word of Warcraft meme that recently got popularized by 4chan, and which later got turned into a flag of the fictional country “Kekistan”. The flag was deliberately created to resemble the Nazi Germany flag and was recently spotted being carried by people attending the White Nationalists rallies.   Bungie admitted the logo was featured in the game and apologised and took it down 5 hours later from the armour. Further work will be needed to change its appearance during inspection and in the armour’s in game icon, which will be done next week. 1/2 It’s come to our attention that a gauntlet in...

Destiny Design Talks About Procedural Generation, Takes A Jab At No Man’s Sky

For those of you who hadn’t noticed yet, Destiny and No Man’s Sky seem to have a lot more in common than just the sci-fi theme and space travel. No Man’s Sky UI design is questionably similar to the one used in Destiny, including the menu items and upgrade tree. In an interview with Metro, Destiny’s Lead Designer Steve Cotton opens up about No Man’s Sky when asked about procedural generation. The UI similarities had obviously gone unnoticed at Bungie, as Cotton humorously implied that No Man’s Sky had copied the UI design from Destiny.  He also gave a more serious take on procedural generation, and why Bungie chooses not to go that route. When asked about open world designs, this is what he has to say, “That’s a really good question. We talk about ...

Showcase: Destiny’s the Taken King Special Edition PS4

Sony showcased a new custom PS4 to go with Destiny’s The Taken King expansion, and it is one of the best looking skins for the console yet, as good looking (or even better, maybe) than the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain bundle. The bundle contains the custom PS4, a glacier white Dualshock 4, a physical copy of Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, which includes Destiny, Expansions I and II, and The Taken King, along with the custom emotes that the Legendary Edition comes with, which Activision is also selling for $20 as a standalone package.   A package this gorgeous for the expansion makes the original Destiny bundle look plain, doesn’t it?

Destiny to come to Steam and PC under Activision

Bungies latest game in the making, Destiny has already had its fair share of hype to its name, as well as it should. The hype didn’t reach its potential peak as it was said that the game would be console exclusive. But now that doesn’t remain true, and we’re excited all over again. “Internally, Bungie feels the current console beta version of Destiny was considered more of an Alpha. The console release will be called beta .9 and devs feel a PC release will really be a 1.0 . Plans are to have all bugs removed and sorted out for a March 2015 release. Destiny will be released under publisher Activision and will be available on Steam! The games release will support 1080p / 60 and a future update will enable 2k/4k resolutions.” What we just understood: Activision now taking ov...

3 Big Problems with the Destiny Beta

The Destiny Beta version is finally here, and so far, I am very encouraged with the game. The world of the game looks amazing. The combat and controls work very well.  There are also things that bug me about the Beta mode. I hope Bungie will fix or address some issues for the final retail version. Other concerns need to be fleshed out later. So here we go: 3. Server Crashes Nothing kills the flow of gameplay like a server crash. The servers for Destiny have been crashing constantly during the Beta version. I was unable to finish a single multiplayer play session because of server crashes. This is incredibly frustrating because I had a couple of rounds where I was actually doing quite well; but none of the data was saved because of the server crashes. I hope Bungie gets this fixed in time f...

5 Upcoming Games you should be excited about :)

We as Gamers always crib about the lack of innovation in the current lot of games and industry in general, but while some titles are simply iterations of the earlier versions with a few cosmetic enhancements, some other developers are always trying new things. Here’s a list of some interesting concepts being explored in upcoming games which we feel should be a reason enough to excite you J So read on… 5. Evolve Turtle Rock’s Left 4 Dead set a standard for cooperative play. Evolve not only goes a step ahead in the co-op space, it offers a new take on competitive play as well. The player who controls the monster has a completely different playing style, abilities, and view of the action than his or her four opponents. Additionally, Evolve is being built to support an expandable roster, so Tu...

Destiny Launch date is revealed

There should be a stage in every product where the ludicrous is thought possible, where the team blazes trails right to the edge of the abyss in a hundred directions. Only through great risks are great things truly achieved. Bungie has confirmed that Destiny will be released on September 9, 2014. So mark your calendars gamers 🙂 In a post on the game’s official site, Bungie community manager DeeJ wrote that Destiny “has always represented a new beginning for our team. It was born from brave possibilities. We dreamed of a renewed and independent Bungie. We found partners willing to bet big on some crazy new ideas with us.” “We first shared the design pillars of Destiny less than one year ago,” the post continues. “We promised to redefine what players should expect from a Bungie game. We said...
