The Latest Elder Scrolls Online Update Doesn’t Want To Let You Go

Recently, Bethesda released an update for their latest MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online. It adds some features and fixes, but might have an issue in itself. The 5 GB update allows you to play with your friends irrespective of what allegiance you belong to, but also came with a glitch in the game servers. Players have reported that they are unable to log out of the Elder Scrolls Online megaservers. When trying to log out, the timer will count down to zero, but nothing happens. Any attempt to cancel the timer and retry is futile as well. In the end, players need to completely shut down the game and then restart to log out or switch characters. Way to be clingy, ESO. Bethesda hasn’t responded to any of the complaints yet, and has provided no details regarding what is causing this glitch. T...

Fallout 4 Will Definitely Get A Taste Of VR

At the E3 conference, Bethesda had announced that they were going to bring Fallout 4 to the realm of virtual reality, and it seems like the ambitious project is already underway. In an interview with Glixel, when asked whether they were trying to put all of Fallout 4 in VR, Todd Howard said, “We definitely are. That’s the promise of VR, being in a big virtual world. The core experience, meaning you put on the headset and you’re standing in the world of Fallout and can go where you want, just that little bit is every bit as cool as you hope it would be. Once we did that, we were like, “OK, we gotta see where this goes.” ” He goes on to say how the potential market in VR is not much of a concern for them, “We’re not so worried about how many we...

Lead Designer Dinga Bakaba points out that it’s possible for players to pass up the Outsider’s abilities completely, an option that wasn’t there in the first game. This decision to provide a horde of abilities and then giving an option to not have them, he said, came about “because we are confident that our core gameplay is interesting enough, and we are confident that the player who makes that choice wants that kind of experience. Bethesda and Reviews: It’s All About The Money

“You need an early review? Screw you”, screams Bethesda’s latest announcement, a few days prior to the release of Skyrim SE. According to the studio, they have proven that  the review timings are not connected to the quality of the game in any manner, and hence they will continue the policy of sending the review copies of their games one day before the official release. “Earlier this year we released DOOM,” the official post reads.“We sent review copies to arrive the day before launch, which led to speculation about the quality of the game. Since then Doom has emerged as a critical and commercial hit, and is now one of the highest-rated shooters of the past few years.” Considering it’s the publisher’s job to sell as many copies of the game as possible, this ca...

Dishonored 2 Live Action Trailer Looks Like A Great Idea For Movie Adaptation

Looks like Bethesda is at it again. Like Fallout 4, their upcoming stealth action title Dishonored 2 has received a live action trailer close to the release date. In the two minute video, Corvo and Emily show off some badass combat moves along with the town of Karnaca. The trailer also showcases their Shadow Walk and Far Reach abilities blended seamlessly with the real world surroundings as they hack and slice they way through the enemies. Though there is practically no blood shown in the trailer, it looks brutally elegant. The attention to detail in the trailer is quite amazing, which can be seen in Emiliy’s appearance and Corvo’s iconic mask. It also shows a glimpse of the game’s villain, Delilah Kaldwin as Emily seems to approach her to take back what’s hers. For...

Skyblivion Gets A Teaser Trailer – Familiar Faces

There is no shortage of mods for Bethesda’s popular RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and yet they never seem to be enough. Some dedicated fans want to take it to a higher level. New Dishonored 2 Trailer Shows The Making Of Karnaca

Dishonored 2, the upcoming stealth-slash-in-your-face-kill-every-person title by Arkane Studios is pretty hyped these days, and for all the right reasons. Whether it’s a steady, stealthy approach to  assassinating your target or full-on high chaos action, the game gives you plenty of freedom to choose your way of playing. The latest trailer sheds some light on the creation of Karnaca, a multi-cultural city best known for being highly diverse and vibrant. It seems to be very different, and still somewhat similar to the city of Dunwall, where the first game took place. While talking about the game, Sebastien Mitton, the art director on the project explains, “Imagine how they think and how they survive in this district, that brought a lot of difference structures, like the wind br...

Jeremy Soule Says He Has No Involvement In Upcoming Skyrim Concert

A concert featuring the music from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was announced recently, about which the composer Jeremy Soule doesn’t seem to be too pleased. “Concert? What concert???” he said in a post on his official Facebook page. “Anyone that knows me also knows that I care passionately about the integrity of my music. Skyrim took years for me to compose and it was constructed very carefully. Today, I’m seeing reports of a concert of Skyrim. This is the first I’ve heard of it.” Known as Skyrim in Concert, the event was announced by UK music promoter Senbla who has partnered up with Elder Scrolls makers Bethesda. Soule, however, says that he was never asked to be involved. “For the record, this concert has nothing to do with me, nor are the...
