We already know that the next Battlefield game is in the works, and if rumors are true, then it will be a sequel to the highly popular Battlefield: Bad Company games. This comes in from Youtuber AlmightyDaq, who had previously leaked accurate information about Battlefield 1. Here’s a gist of what he says in his video: The game will be set around the Vietnam conflict, but it will be fictionalized for dramatic effect, and not be historically accurate. All the popular game modes like Conquest, Team Deathmatch, Domination, etc will make a comeback. there will also be a new 5v5 modes that might be designed for competitive play, especially e-sports. A lot of the map design is also said to be focused on tighter gameplay instead of the all out warfare that the series is known for. This might...

DICE also has Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, and the season pass of Star Wars: Battlefront as concurrent projects. However, it’s main project at the moment is the next Battlefield game. Source: Twitter and IGN. We also know that the game will return to its traditional military style again after the Cops and Robbers style in Battlefield Hardline. EA’s Matthew Everett answered the community’s questions over the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront game in development by DICE. Here is the information he provided: In Walker Assault, vehicles are tied to the power up system. When you find a vehicle power up on the map, you will need to activate it, which immediately spawns you inside the vehicle. Vehicle power ups specifically must be used within a certain amount of time Y-wings are non-player controlled vehicles. They are a support vehicle that you can call into battle within certain game modes. Split-screen will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only. Playing Missions does not grant you multiplayer career experience, but it does provide you with credit rewards you can spend on buying unlocks. He concluded by saying t...
Battlefield is a game that has been around for a decent amount of time now and has been giving the Call of Duty franchise a run for its money. With Call of Duty coming out with Advanced Warfare, did Hardline do enough to win the hearts of FPS enthusiasts? Let’s find out. Hardline stars a young and honest detective, Nick Mendoza, a Cuban immigrant who grew up in a lower income area in Miami. New developer Visceral abandoned the old generic military vide and went with a cops vs robbers sort of theme, that honestly does give a different feel to it and helps segregate it from the Call of Duty titles. Has Hardline made the right choice with this new approach or should it have stuck with the established franchise? New Approach Going with the cops vs robbers approach could have proved both a risk...
With the Battlefield Hardline release right around the corner, Electronic Arts and Visceral Games just came out with the official launch trailer. The trailer does its job by setting up the game’s cops-and-robbers story and also features some of its new features, including zip-lines and more. EA Access members on Xbox One need not wait till the 17th of March to play Hardline, they can starting playing the game from the 12th for a total of 10 hours. In related news, Visceral Games also tweeted the resolution details for Xbox One and PS4.
Visceral Games has confirmed the resolution details for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the upcoming cops-and-robbers multiplayer shooter. Just as was done with Battlefield 4, the PS4 edition will output a higher resolution than the Xbox One. The PC version of Hardline may just end up being the best looking of the lot—atleast for gamers with high eng rigs. Hardline launches on the 17th of March for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.
Battlefield Hardline’s developer Visceral Games has updated the game’s official website with the list of all multiplayer maps and modes for the upcoming shooter, scheduled for release in March for PC. The nine maps and seven modes are mentioned below in full detail, and some images to go with it in the end. Battlefield Hardline Maps: The Block — “What looks like a liquor store and bail bonds office, is actually a front. This is home to a notorious criminal ring. The police know better than to enter The Block without backup.” Dust Bowl — “The small desert town of Joad is off the beaten path and well-known for meth trafficking problems. The cops have had enough and are on the scene to shut it all down.” Hollywood Heights — “A mansio...
As most of you know, a 2016 Battlefield game was announced last month and the franchise plans to return to their military focused root which is what the series is best known for quite unlike the cops-and-robbers Battlefield Hardline. EA CFO Blake Jorgensen made the comment today during the 2014 UBS Global Technology Conference. He said he has already seen the game and it is shaping up to be a “fun, new Battlefield. That will be a return to a Battlefield military-style game; more to come on that,” he said. As far as annualizing the Battlefield series goes, EA CEO Andrew Wilson explained last month that, “We want to give Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline players more time to enjoy these games and immerse themselves in a game, the live service, and the community....
Battlefield 4’s final expansion, which I find so appropriately named “Final Stand” is releasing on the 18th of November according to the announcement made by Electronic Arts announced on its blog. The Final Stand DLC includes four arctic-themed maps and new, futuristic weapons. Battlefield 4 premium members get their hands on the content first before its out for the public on the 2nd of December. Final Stand features four maps–Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Hangar 21, and Giants of Karelia, all of which take place in wintry environments. Another aspect that is brought to the fore-front is the near-future weapons/gadgets such as a DS-3 DECOY gun attachment that emits false blips on enemies’ mini-maps and the XD-1 Accipiter, a remote-controlled, LMG-equipped drone.
Gamers will find themselves in the middle of a crime filled single player story as Miami is entangled in a drug war and Officer Nick Mendoza has just made detective. Along with this partner, detective Khai Minh Dao, he narrows down the drug supply to the root of its source. In an interesting case the two detectives will come to realize that power and corruption can affect both sides of the law. In multiplayer, everything is quite simple, as you’re on one side of the law or the other. But either way, teamwork is going to be essential if you’re going to want to pull off that perfect heist or big time bust in this new take on Battlefield multiplayer.
