Assassin’s Creed Cats

Lately there have been a lot of video of cats doing random stuff and quite honestly I thought it was incredibly irritating, until I saw this.   YouTube user Mr.TVCow posted the video, in which four hooded kittens hunt down French soldiers, just like in the trailers for Assassin’s Creed Unity. They do everything like use their eagle vision ability, parkour after their target. And I have to admit it is pretty darn cute. Assassin’s Creed Unity launches November 11 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Another game, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, is also launching on that day, but it’s coming only to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Ubisoft has not yet announced a DLC pass for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, but we do know about its preorder bonuses.

According to the website, this casting development sort of hints that the film’s plot might be based on the game’s (Assassin’s Creed II) particular storyline where Leonardo Da Vinci was featured as a friend of Ezio Auditore. As of now Michael Fassbender is still part of the Assassin’s Creed movie. “Nothing has changed, yeah. I’m still a part of Assassin’s Creed, and we’re working on the...

Ubisoft to make more Open-World Games because they feel “gamers want more freedom”

In a recent interview, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told why the Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry publisher is working on more open-world games. Guillemot says that games like Watch Dogs, The Crew, Far Cry 4 or The Division do appeal to gamers much more allow a certain level of freedom among players because they allow players a more free-form experience instead of a linear and directed one. “We think that gamers want more freedom,” Guillemot said. “They also want games that they can play for quite a while, because there are less games now. The open-world genre gives us the possibility to offer different gamers different types of experiences. We think they are better adapted to the diversity of gamers that are in the market at the moment.”   Guillemot went on to say t...

Assassin’s Creed 2014 most likely to be set in Paris on Xbox One and PS4

Some leaked images from Kotaku suggest that this year’s Assassin’s Creed will be set in 18th century Paris. The Paris-set screenshots which were obtained from an anonymous source were of an ‘early-in-development’ version of the game. It features Notre Dame and the Seine river in the background. For now the game is dubbed Unity, though it is not clear if this is the actual title or just a codename. The word around is that this year’s Assassin’s Creed will take place during the French Revolution and feature a new protagonist named Arno.
