With the recent partnership between Bluehole and Tencent, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is all set to make its way to China. However, we also now have news of the Battle Royale game coming to smartphones as well. With the help of Tencent, a mobile version of the game is currently in development.
Battle Royale clones have already stared cluttering the mobile markets, and some of them are actually pretty good. It’s only obvious that Bluehole and Tencent will want a share of the mobile market, especially since they have the biggest Battle Royale style game in the world right now.
Tencent might also be looking to buy out Bluehole completely, and it makes sense for them to support the IP to the fullest.
