Japan is always a fantastic place to visit. I always dream of visiting this country and it appears that even without vising the land of Rising Sun, anyone can now explore Japan with Persona and Yakuza. Both these games are utterly brilliant. They depict stunning details of famous locations in Japan. It makes sense, though because both of them are based in Japanese culture. The Kamurocho district in Yakuza, for example, is a representation of Kabukicho district in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Persona, the other one, presents life-like versions of so many famous hot spots around the country’s capital. If you ever visited Sangenjaya district near Shibuya, you will realize how Persona 5 captures most of the details perfectly through the Yongenjaya district. There are even shops and tight alleys depicted i...

It features a unique procedural skill tree which changes on every play-through. Yakuza 0 Tokyo 1988. Getting rich is easy, the women are beautiful, and everyone wants in on the action. It’s time to become Yakuza. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Zelda’s return is an open world masterpiece. Mass Effect: Andromeda It’s an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed the game even with its faults. Nex Machina Nex Machina is an intense arcade style twin-stick shooter from Housemarque. The Dragon Walks the Streets Again – Yakuza Kiwami is Now Available in the Americas and Europe It’s time to bring it back to 2005 because Yakuza Kiwami, the HD remake of the PlayStation 2 classic Yakuza, is out now in the West! The game is now available physically and digitally on the PlayStation4 for $29.99 (with commensurate European pricing). Being retold in Kiwami is the nascent character arc for Yakuza – the game begins with series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu getting sent to prison for the murder of his family patriarch (which he didn’t commit). To make matters worse, during the 10 years of his imprisonment, not only does Kiryu’s clan expel him from the yakuza, but ¥10 billion (~$100 million) goes missing from the clan treasury. Worse yet, Kiryu’s chil...
Kamurocho, Toyko, the great entertainment district of the east. This city, which is known as the city that never sleeps, has been long dominated by the Tojo Clan, Eastern Japan’s greatest yakuza organization. However, it is 2018. The collusion between the police and the Omi Alliance have overtaken control. Working with his allies who share the same ambition, he will confront the major powers that be. But they will encounter an unexpected conspiracy—. A youn...
We’re not saying that Kazuma Kiryu isn’t already the baddest man strutting down the mean streets of Kamurocho. I mean his nickname is “The Dragon of Dojima” after all, but even he can agree that getting help isn’t a sign of weakness, particularly if aid comes in the form of free Yakuza Kiwami DLC that we’ll be releasing throughout this September! From useful consumable items to Goro Majima’s glorious snake skin jacket outfit, these goodies can only help Kiryu remain a living legend to be reckoned with (especially in the high-octane world of competitive Pocket Circuit racing). The DLC will automatically patch into the game when available and can be obtained from Bob Utsunomiya, the clown located underneath the Tenkaichi Street Gate. Without further ...
IGN has posted a 15-minute gameplay video from the Yakuza 6: The Song of Life demo shown at E3 2017 last week, providing the first-ever English footage of the game. Here’s an overview of the game, via Sega: Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima (and the main protagonist of Sega’s long running Yakuza franchise) will find out exactly how much people are willing to sacrifice for family – be those ties through blood or bond – when Yakuza 6: The Song of Life releases in the West. The game is coming to consoles only on PlayStation 4, and thanks to the new “Dragon Engine,” is the most advanced Yakuza title to date. From the unparalleled realism of the new setting of Onomichi, a beautiful, sleepy port town in Hiroshima Prefecture, to the latest evolution of Kamurocho, the biggest red-light district i...
