In rather sad news today, Ubisoft has delayed the release date for “The Crew” worldwide till 2nd December. The much awaited open world racer was previously set to come out on the 11th of this month in North America and on the 14th in Europe. However the till the actual release of the game a second closed beta on Xbox One and PS4 is expected at some point in November. “Our philosophy remains to deliver the best game possible. We’re all committed to delivering a revolutionary experience in the driving genre and we can’t wait for The Crew to be in the hands of the players.” said creative director Julian Gerighty
In case you were on the fence about preordering a copy of November’s open-world action game Far Cry 4, this video should pretty much make that decision for you. The video showcases everything you get for reserving a copy. All preorders for Far Cry 4 get bumped up to limited edition, which features three “exclusive” missions featuring Hurk (from Far Cry 3). The best thing about the limited edition has to be the super awesome harpoon gun, called The Impaler. As seen in the video, Ubisoft also mentions the Far Cry 4 limited edition will unlock “more monkeys.”Far Cry 4 launches November 18 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Far Cry 4 closely resembles a T.V. Show called “Survivor” that I used to watch many years ago. Not so much the violence part of things but the whole concept of, well….surviving. In Far Cry 4, it shouldn’t be surprising to find that people are out to hurt you. And in case you’re one to bring the fight to them, this video would interest you. Ubisoft’s latest trailer gives you not only a glimpse but a full fledged introduction into the sorts of ammunition you have access to, which include knives, guns, bigger guns, guns with tiny telescopes on them, guns that shoot flames, crossbows and tigers! It isn’t He-Man where you command your tiger to do this or that, instead you fling a piece of meat towards your target and with possibly a slight delay,...

Assassin’s Creed fans aren’t going to like this article at all, which annoyingly enough includes me. The upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie which stars Michael Fassbender will not come to theaters in August 2015 as expected. The movie has been rescheduled for a 2016 release according to The Hollywood Reporter. The source says that the movie’s scripts have gone through several rewrites and production wise have faces various scheduling issues. As we all know Fassbender is set to play the lead role in the film, which will be directed by Justin Kurzel. No other cast members have been announced, although there are rumors that Robert Downey Jr might be considered to feature in the movie too. Fassbender made it clear that he was never into playing video games and doesn’t own any sort of console. How...
Just today Ubisoft announced a new Assassin’s Creed bundle for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 called the “Assassin’s Creed The Americas Collection” which comes out on the 28th of October. Bundle includes copies of Assassin’s Creed III (2012), Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (2013), and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation HD (2014). The common element among these games is that they are all set in the Americas, therefore the name. But in the UK, the bundle will be know as Assassin’s Creed Birth of a New World – The American Saga. Ubisoft didn’t happen to mention how much the bundle would cost, also it remains to be clear whether the game is coming to PC. So you better keep praying you PC gamers. If you absolutely want an AssassinR...
Ubisoft revealed a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Assassin’s Creed Rogue. The short video discloses important elements like a overview of the game, story line, enemies etc. In the game you get to play as a man named Shay Patrick Cormac, an assassin turned templar, which allows you, for the first time in the series, to play for the other team and experiencing the other side while getting to use Templar weapons and items. “The Assassins were my brothers; now I hunt them to the ends of the earth and I swear I will not fail,” Cormac says. You still have your old school brutal take downs as you can see in the trailer. Not only that but you also encounter wildlife as well, like polar bears and whales and not to mention some naval combat as well. Ass...
Now you can go ahead and live your dreams of walking around on a wooden leg with an annoying parrot on your shoulder and your eye patch as Assassin’s Creed Pirate is free across all platforms. And not just that, the game gets an update called Cold Blood which takes you into the Arctic with a new crew member. Your new comrade will help you procure resources and guide you through the icy waters that befall you. The ship too has been customized to face the frigid waters. Additional in-game content is available and sold separately in the game. Ubisoft get their revenue out of the game by allowing in-app coin purchases. The game is available on Play Store and App Store
Bad Blood is a new DLC coming out for Watch Dogs on the 23rd of September for season pass holders and on the 30th of September for the rest of the players. The DLC features a new story campaign and allows you to play as T-Bone. Learn more about his backstory through 10 new missions set in new areas of Chicago. This is what Ubisoft had to say– Shortly after the events of Watch_Dogs, Raymond “T-Bone” Kenney infiltrates Blume one last time to plant a false trail in their system. Before he can disappear from the grid, he receives a panicked phone call from Tobias Frewer, a former colleague from Blume’s ctOS prototype days, who’s in desperate need of help. Putting his own escape at risk, T-Bone decides to help, but quickly realises the details of his old friend’s story aren’t addin...
An Ubisoft rep had let slip the graphical benchmarks the team working on the open-world racer The Crew was hoping for–30 frames per second at resolution of 1080p on Xbox One, PlayStation and PC. This news came as a response to a forum member’s complaint that the PC beta test of the game is locked at 30 frames per second. An Ubisoft representative jumped in with this response–“The final game will run in 1080p with 30 frames per second on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and will support up to 5760 x 1080p on PC for triple screen set-ups,” the response reads. “Right now the team is focusing on providing an optimal experience for all players.” Later, the community manager would edit the reply to note that the development team is aiming for 60 f...
Ubisoft’s upcoming racing game The Crew is not a next gen and PC exclusive. The developer mentioned that the title is now also headed to Xbox 360, however there was no mention of the PS3 or Wii U versions. The Crew launches November 11 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. As for why this decision was taken by Ubisoft in bringing the game to a last-generation console, the publisher says it’s all about meeting gamers where they are, which honestly doesn’t make too much sense as PS3 and Wii U users weren’t accounted for. “It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation,” Ubisoft marketing executive Tony Key said. “The Crew was originally built for the new gene...
