Martin “Toddyftw” Bergman’s Toddyhancer graphics mod, which we got a look at back in August, makes Grand Theft Auto V’s lighting look ridiculously good. As it turns out, it also works wonders for Star Wars Battlefront. It’s a very pretty game to start with, no question, but the screens he recently posted to Imgur look like stills taken straight from the films….with sharpness cranked up to eye-gouging levels. Sadly, there’s no video of the Toddyhanced Star Wars Battlefront in action, so we have to take the quality of these screens on faith to a certain extent. That said, the roughly 80 images archive Bergman posted look startlingly similar to the films, though the texture ‘pop’ comes from oversharpening. (100 or so screens from an older ...

Nolan North may have revealed the existence of a spiritual successor to the lamentedly cancelled Star Wars 1313 at a Q&A session at the MetroCon 2015. it is being helmed by Amy Hennig of uncharted (as in the entire series) fame, and being developed by Visceral. When asked whether it is Star Wars 1313, North replied that “it’s different, but along the same lines.” This is what he had to say about the game: “If you’re a big fan of Amy Hennig and her style of story, she’s gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted. I happen to know a lot about it and it’s going to be awesome.”
DICE teased us with footage from the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront sequel. It was the same map as the E3 demo (Tattoine). It’s only a 30 second teaser, and is the first PC footage of the game. Possibly the most awaited game this E3, Star Wars Battlefront reveal hits all the right notes. Dice and EA have excelled in demonstrating how brilliantly well they can do a Star Wars game. Anyone who had any complains about the lack of destructible environs will be eating their words, cuz this Star Wars game knocks Battlefield 4 right out the park. Vehicular combat, Tight weaponry, excellent visuals, co-operative gameplay, and to top it all of, even LightSaber Combat!! This is the Multiplayer experience we have all been waiting for!! This one is for those who might have missed the Star Wars Battlefront trailer by EA. This one was captured completely on a PS4 and it does look pretty sick as it takes us through planets such as Endor and Hoth, as well as speeder bikes, AT-ATs, and even the Millennium Falcon, all of which players can use in the game. Battlefront launches November 17 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Final Fantasy publisher Square Enix has taken a liking to recreating certain major media franchise for its line of “Play Arts” figures. Square Enix along with Lucasfilm have come out with a new Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Stormtrooper Star Wars figures designed by the Japanese game publisher. And they look pretty insane. According to ToyArk, the figures will be up for sale this July and might cost somewhere around $100 each. From the pictures you can make out that the Boba Fett toy is quite detailed with its pistol, knives, flamethrower effect, and more. The new Stormtrooper figurine features interchangeale hands, a blaster, and a deadly look that usually isn’t a attribute of a regular Storm Trooper. There is also a pretty badass Darth Vader figure in the gallery. Star Wars isn’t th...
