Sarthak’s Top 10 Favorite Games Of 2017

Here are Sarthak’s Top 10 games of 2017: 1. Middle Earth Shadow of War It was a delight to feel so much power and be in control of a game since the Shadow of Mordor. 2. Nier Automata It is weird, yet I couldn’t keep my hands off it. 3. Call of Duty WW2 My first console was a PS2 and it was a delight to take a nostalgic trip back to WW2 with Call of Duty in those pretty graphics. 4. Zelda Breath of the Wild I played this one on an emulator on my laptop. It was pretty buggy, yet it was so so enjoyable. 5. Divinity: Original Sin 2 A perfect blend of Story, environment and gameplay. 6. For Honor I always wanted to play as Viking and For Honor did a fantastic job. However, I’m not in favour of them removing ‘u’ from ‘honour’. #Britist_English_Rules 7. A...

The Top 10 Most Disappointing Games Of 2017

Every year there are games that we are all hyped up and eagerly waiting for, and every year some of the drop the ball. So here are the top 10 most disappointing games of 2017. These aren’t necessarily bad games, these are just game we expected better from. Mass Effect Andromeda This one is probably the most obvious pick. To be honest, I did enjoy Mass Effect: Andromeda’s combat  and exploration a lot. However, I was really hyped for this game, especially because I absolutely loved the original trilogy. Andromeda, sadly, never reaches the same heights. Star Wars Battlefront 2 At it’s core, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is an enjoyable game. It’s just so disappointing to see how badly EA screwed this over with their insatiable greed. As a shooter, it’s probably one of...

Loot Boxes To Come Under Scrutiny And Govt. Regulations?

Daniel Zeichner, the Labour MP for Cambridge constituency recently submitted two questions to Karen Bradley, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. These questions are regarding the nature of loot boxes, which have become quite a big topic following the release of major titles like Shadow of War, Forza Motorsport 7 and the open beta for Star Wars Battlefront II. The questions are as follows: Question 1: To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what assessment the Government has made of the effectiveness of the Isle of Man’s enhanced protections against illegal and in-game gambling and loot boxes; and what discussions she has had with Cabinet colleagues on adopting such protections in the UK. Question 2: To ask the Secretary of State for Di...

Making A Mordorer – Middle Earth: Shadow Of War – Review

Much like Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor, Shadow Of War doesn’t try too hard to fit into Tolkien’s version of the Middle Earth lore. And that comes with its benefits and drawbacks. However, despite the inconsistent narrative, the core gameplay and the systems revolving around it are really strong, and the overall scope of the game is much larger than the predecessor. Minutes into the game you are thrown back into the shoes of Talion and Celebrimbor, intent on forging a new ring. Things go wrong almost immediately afterwards, and you spend the rest of Shadow of War trying to build up an army, and protect mankind against from the evil forces of Sauron and his minions. I would highly recommend not taking the main plot with much seriousness or try to hold it up against the canon lore. The game ...

Shadow Of War Cracked In Under 2 Days, Is Denuvo Even Relevant Anymore?

Middle Earth: Shadow Of War has been out for just two days, and the game has already been cracked and uploaded to infamous torrent websites already. The game was being protected by Denuvo anti-tamper software, and is another game that has been cracked in mere days of release. Recently FIFA 18 had also been cracked, which previously had a track of going uncracked for almost two years. This does raise the question of Denuvo’s relevance in the market, and if video game publishers should continue using it, since it had been associated with some serious performance issues. ABOUT THIS GAME Go behind enemy lines to forge your army, conquer Fortresses and dominate Mordor from within. Experience how the award winning Nemesis System creates unique personal stories with every enemy and follower...

Shadow Of War’s Live-Action Interactive Trailer Looks Epic

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today launched a new “Campaign That Never Forgets,” bringing to life the videogame that never forgets, Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Beginning with an interactive live-action film directed by Neil Huxley (Avatar, Watchmen) and shot by Director of Photography, Fabian Wagner (Game of Thrones), the “Campaign That Never Forgets” faithfully recreates the award-winning Nemesis System, driving viewers to make key story decisions during the siege of a fortress in Mordor. Those decisions then result in a personal relationship with a specific Orc as a loyal ally or vengeful enemy, which will extend beyond the interactive trailer and follow viewers across the internet, emulating the gameplay experience created by the Nemesis System. In Middle-earth: Shadow of War...
