One of the most talked about news in the gaming world the past week had to be the hike in the PS Plus subscription prices. Existing PS Plus subscribers have long complained that paying for this “exclusivity” doesn’t live up to its hype. Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection Coming To PS4 And Xbox One
After previous leaks on the Korean Games Ratings Board, and Gasmeblog.fr, Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection has been listed on Amazon Italy for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One. The game ts set to release on the 17th of November. The collection includes Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations, all remastered for new consoles, and including all of the DLCs and two short films. Assassin’s Creed fans will find this news gladdening, since no major Assassin’s Creed game is set to release this year. Indie Game Jam Event Round Up
Last weekend, that is the 27th-28th of August, we got to be a part of something quite spectacular, The Indie Game Jame. A competition where game developers were to make a game around a given theme within a 24 hour time limit. Now this isn’t your regular competition where people are biting each other’s heads off to get in front. This event was more casual than our office’s dress code (and I wear shorts to work). Teams were encouraged to interact with each other, share ideas and even help competitors if they so wished. The aim for the 24 hour long marathon was simple -create a kickass playable prototype based on the themes announced on the spot. CEX Lists Prices For The “Unannounced” PS 4 Slim, Sony Struggles To Contain Leaks
Sony seems to having quite a lot of trouble containing their new upcoming addition to the PS 4 console family, the PS 4 Slim. After the online leak followed by an unboxing, a UK based used goods retailer CEX has now listed the PS 4 Slim for a price of £380. Right now, it doesn’t have any stock available and it might a simple placeholder, but now you know what it’s going to cost on their website come the release date. However, the listing also says that CEX will offer £304 to anyone who wishes to sell their PS 4 Slim to the retailer. While no official release date for Kojima’s next project, Death Stranding has been confirmed, rumor has it that the game already has a set release date it is targeting for itself. In any case, fans cannot seem to wait to get their hands on the game, and we wonder what Kojima Productions plans to bring to us outside the Metal Gear world.
