Back in June, it was announced an expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn called The Frozen Wilds. Set in icy territories to the north, this new chapter of Aloy’s journey adds a new area to explore, new mysteries to uncover and new, highly lethal machines to take on. Today, the developers were happy to share that the release date for Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is November 7th, 2017. Starting today, you can sign up for a chance to be a beta tester and get an advance look at some of the improvements and new features coming to PS4. You can register to be a beta tester (Europe) anytime between today and the start of the beta in early August. Users must be 18 years or older. Once the beta starts, we’ll close registration. Gamingbolt recently spoke to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, and asked him about the successor to the PS4. Pachter believes that the PS5 will be backward compatible with PS4 Pro (which also means that it will play base PS4 games) and it will probably release in 2019.
