Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer highlights next-gen features

At last, a new trailer gives a close-up look at all the fancy tech and effects in the open-world murder simulator’s posh versions, for people who like gawping at render passes. The list of pretty includes dynamic foliage, rolling seas and extra-pretty shallow waters, a weather system with oodles of rain particles and shiny dynamic rippling wetness, and global illumination. All versions have similar effects of course, and some like the dynamic navmesh for boarding ships are downright crucial, but they’re all next-gen on next-gen systems, see. Coming in a hundred dollars cheaper than the Xbox One, the PS4 gives Microsoft stiff competition in the gaming industry. Sony has said that the PS4 will be powered by a custom 8-core AMD  “Jaguar” x86-64 with integrated graphics APU and “next-generation” AMD Radeon graphics processor capable of driving 1.84 teraflops. It also comes packed with a 8GB GDDR5 memory, which makes it competitive with most PC focused games available in the market. The PS4, not surprisingly, come with a Blu-ray drive, built-in 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, with a HDMI, Analog-AV, and optical digital output. Xbox One takes a U-Turn

Microsoft has budged to the demands of gamers and the negative press finally!!! Microsoft has changed its policies regarding Xbox One’s internet requirements, used game restrictions and more. Contrary to the details announced earlier this month, Microsoft has now confirmed news originally reported on Giant Bomb that Xbox One will not require an internet connection to play offline games or need to check in every 24 hours; instead, internet will only be required when initially setting up the console. “After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again,” Microsoft wrote. “There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360....
