With E3 right around the corner and with the hype for it being at a maximum why not talk about what we can expect from certain Studios and what we would like to see from then. Today’s post is all about Ubisoft but nothing about their logo change. So let’s start off with the most anticipated game. Assassins’ Creed Origins Assassins’ Creed Origin or whatever might be the final name, is the series’ return after being on hiatus for a year following the release of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Ubisoft explained that they were taking a year off to iron out issues and deliver a more complete and better game to the fans. The main Assassins’ Creed series has until now always traveled to the future in every iteration but Origins takes it back to Ancient Egypt,...
Recently, it was confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will no longer be a Nintendo Switch launch title, and that the next Mario game might mark the release for Nintendo’s big device. It’s possible that we know what that game might be, after all. According to a report by LetsPlayVideoGames, the Switch will launch alongside a turn-based RPG which is possibly a Raving Rabbigs x Mario crossover, currently under development by Ubisoft. There is no official title yet, but the codename/working title for the game seems to be Mario RPG: Invasion of the Rabbids. The game is closely monitored by Nintendo to ensure that it’s ready by the launch day and adheres to the Mario maker’s specifications regarding the depiction of Mario characters and assets. The repor...
Making a video game isn’t a one man job, well at least making a good one isn’t. Everybody from the director all the way down to game testers, play a crucial role in determining how good or bad the game will turn out. All these people work together toward a common goal, which is to make a game that leaves an impression on gamers across the world, achieving success in both critical acclaim and sales. However, there usually is one person who leads the development of a game or of the industry in general. Their vision is what pushes the rest to work toward a goal. It’s hard to come up with a brilliant idea, but it’s harder to convince others of the same. It takes a lot of courage and belief in an idea for one to rise above the rest and see that idea through till its comp...
What are heroes without their counterparts? Nothing really, if you ask me. Conflict only arises when there are two clashing/opposing views. Without villains conflict does not exist and without conflict, nothing is learned, nothing is gained, nothing really happens. A hero can never be truly valued without a villain, making the antagonist absolutely necessary in any sort of narrative. What really makes them shine are their villains. Having said that, here are five of the villains we all love to hate from games that we’ve played over the years. Vaas Montenegro (Far Cry 3) Bearing close resemblance to the Joker, Vaas portrays tons of dark humor, mercilessness and of course is completely insane. Despite the fact that he is a total maniac, he’s still feels like a guy I can watch sports with. Ma...

The NES will come packaged with one controller. Additional controllers can be bought for $10. Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro controllers can also be used to play. Moreover, the NES Classic Controller, can be used to play Virtual Console NES games on Wii U or Wii by connecting it to a Wii Remote. “We wanted to give fans of all ages the opportunity to revisit Nintendo’s original system ...
If you always wanted Nintendo to make a 3D Mario game using some of the best technology in the games industry, you’re going to want to watch this video. YouTube user aryoksini has uploaded a video of the iconic plumber running on Epic’s Unreal Engine 4. “All the environment assets were taken from the Unreal marketplace, all the character actions were scripted using blueprints only, all animations were re-created from scratch as well as the PBR ready textures,” aryoksini said in the video’s description. It’s pretty cool to see Mario running around environments that look as sharp as the best looking PC games out there, but Mario, of course, is more than just his looks. You’d have to make those environments fun to play before you’ll get a proper...
his morning Nintendo announced a partnership with DeNA (pronounced “D-N-A”) to deliver new titles featuring Nintendo characters to “smart devices and bring a new multi-device membership service” to market worldwide. This is the news that Nintendo fans have been waiting the better part of a decade to hear. As our own Anthony Domanico put it in an editorial back in 2011, “Nintendo could single-handedly revolutionize Android gaming…but they don’t wanna.” Apparently the sheer size of the smartphone and tablet market has finally overwhelmed whatever concerns Nintendo had about cannibalizing its own hardware sales. It seems shocking that it took them this long to appreciate that position, considering it was back in 2011 that the tide turned and smartphone gaming first overtook the traditional ha...
