Intel And AMD Team Up to Bring AAA Gaming To Mainstream Laptops

Long time rival companies Intel and AMD will be partnering up to work on a new laptop chip. The chip in question will have an Intel processor along with an AMD graphics unit, bringing them directly in competition with NVIDIA. The new chips are aimed to make slim and portable laptops powerful enough to make them a viable option for graphics intensive games. Simply put, it will help to bridge the gap between high-end gaming laptops and the more affordable but less powerful mainstream ones. Intel Announces Eighth-Generation Coffee Lake CPUs, Aims To Target The Mainstream With Affordable Pricing

Intel has finally announced it’s 8th Generation of CPUs known as Coffee Lake.  According to Intel, the new chips are up to 32% faster compared to the previous gen(Kaby Lake) and up to 65% than a three-year-old system that would be used for video editing, gaming, and streaming.
