Infamous Second Son and First Light Get The Power of PS 4 Pro

The PlayStation 4 Pro is about to be launched in a few days, and the devs at Sucker Punch have just given us some idea about what Infamous: Second Son and First Light will look like on the new console. How to play Infamous: Second Son like a pro

While it resembles its predecessors a fair bit, Infamous: Second Son does do a few things differently than them. The game now has an all new lead character in Delsin Rowe, a Native American graffiti artist & troublemaker whose ability is to absorb the powersets of other super-powered people called Conduits. He gets a total of four powersets in the game to use against the Department of Unified Protection, the agency that’s rounding up people with superpowers. Preorders of Infamous: Second Son likely to overtake The Last of Us preorders

Before you read this article remember that The Last of Us was one of the top games, if not, was the best game of 2014. This comes as quite a shock because Sony confirmed that preorders for Infamous: Second Son in the UK have exceeded the preorder numbers The Last of Us had at this point comparatively to when it was launched. Game4u begins pre-order for Titanfall and Infamous Second Son

Mumbai, 24th February, 2014: Two of the biggest and much awaited gaming titles of the year, Titanfall and Infamous Second Son, are now available for pre-order on Milestone Interactive Group’s Game4u, India’s first premium multichannel retailer of PC, console games and related accessories. Gamers can now pre-order the games and avail bonus that includes the Infamous PS4 Skin available exclusively at Game4u (online and retail stores), and Titanfall mega poster.     Priced at Rs. 3499/-, Titanfall releases on PC on 14th March 2014 and for Xbox 360 on 28th March 2014, while Infamous Second Son, priced at Rs. 3999/-, is scheduled to release on 21st March 2014 for PS4.  

Infamous: Second Son requires 24GB install

According to an image posted in the PlayStation forums, the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive Infamous: Second Son will need  24 GB install. Compared to its predecessor, the PlayStation 3 game Infamous 2 was clocked in at 14GB, according to the game’s product page on the Sony Entertainment Network website. And thanks to the new PlayGo system, the PS4 allows you to start playing before downloads are complete. New info on inFAMOUS: Second Son

inFAMOUS: Second Son was a big hit at the at the Taipei Game Show in Taiwan. They gathered a lot of attention with a playable demo on the show floor and was one of the most successful stage events of the whole show. More information regarding the control scheme was disclosed at the show, alongside other stuff related to the powers that have already been unveiled, smoke and neon. The effects of some buttons change depending on what power is equipped. New Infamous Second Son screens show neon powers

So far we know Delsin has a range of powers in PS4‘s inFamous; Second Son and these new screens show his neon abilities in action. The main benefit seems to be a speed boost as well as prettier projectiles – because if you are going to die it’s comforting to think you looked good. One of Delsin’s skills is apparently the ability to take other conduit’s powers, which should open up the options some what. We’ve seen the neon power coming from a female character called Abigail Walker, also known as Fetch. The process doesn’t exactly look painless and it’s unclear weather she survives – could this the game’s new moral twist? Check out the neon powers in the gallery below
