Infinity Ward possibly bringing back Soap MacTavish DLC for COD: Ghosts

Infinity Ward tweeted a few days ago and are hinting at the possibilities that  John “Soap” MacTavish, protagonist of the Modern Warfare games, may be returning to the series. We’re not really sure what form he’s gonna take in the DLC. The above image was the one Infinity Ward used in the tweet which shows Soap doing his regular thing- being a total badass. The “Continue YES NO” caption riffs on his ultimate fate in Modern Warfare 3. All of this is more or less rumors at this point but its only sensible to assume that Soap will appear in a multiplayer Legends Pack, as Captain Price and Vladimir Makarov have previously. In past iterations these packs provide a soldier skin, reticules, weapon camo, and other customisation options. Stay tuned as we bring you the latest news on thi...

Nvidia unveils the GeForce GTX Titan Z

Well NVIDIA is always willing to outperform itself and here is one more example 🙂  Nvidia is readying a version that will be priced higher than almost all PCs. Assassins Creed Unity to be set during the French Revolution

Yesterday we shared that the next Assassin’s Creed game is set in Paris (at least partially) during the French Revolution. That is no longer just a rumor; Ubisoft has confirmed that the next game in the AC series, titled Assassin’s Creed: Unity, will take us back to 18th century France later this year, on PC,PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The confirmation comes via the trailer below, which offers no sense of characters, gameplay revisions, or how the current day setting that frames the games factors in. The earlier leak also claimed that there will actually be two AC games this year, released for different console generations. We know that Unity will be on the newer hardware and PC, while a rumored separate game, known by the reported codename “Assassin’s Creed: Comet,” could be released for...

Assassin’s Creed 2014 most likely to be set in Paris on Xbox One and PS4

Some leaked images from Kotaku suggest that this year’s Assassin’s Creed will be set in 18th century Paris. The Paris-set screenshots which were obtained from an anonymous source were of an ‘early-in-development’ version of the game. It features Notre Dame and the Seine river in the background. For now the game is dubbed Unity, though it is not clear if this is the actual title or just a codename. The word around is that this year’s Assassin’s Creed will take place during the French Revolution and feature a new protagonist named Arno. The leaked images also suggest a new feature – ‘parkour up’ and ‘parkour down’ which have buttons mapped for them. Source: Martin Gaston

God of War director leaves Sony after 11 years

The director of the well know game God of War III, Stig Asmussen has left Sony Santa Monica, and reasons as to why he did so remains to be known. “SCEA can confirm that Stig Asmussen is no longer with Santa Monica Studio,” a Sony representative told IGN. Asmussen more than just a familiar face at Sony Santa Monica as he joined the company in 2003 and worked on God of War, God of War II and God of War III. He however did not work on God of War: Ascension and was leading development on a new IP that Sony shut down last month. Asmussen is reportedly interviewing in small studios but again we’re not totally sure where. Source:  Eddie Makuch
