COD: Ghosts multiplayer demo weekend free for PS4 and PS3
This weekend PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 owners will be able to gets hands-on with the Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer demo. More details are on the official PlayStation Blog, the free demo will be available from May 2 at 10am PST and run until May 5, 10am PST. This demo will feature three multiplayer maps: Strikezone, Warhawk, and Prison Break. These three multiplayer modes will be featured, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search & Rescue. In addition to these, players will be able to access the co-operative game mode Extinction, in which up to four players can be grouped together to tackle waves of alien enemies. Source: Zorine Te
Activision launching Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer demo on March 7
Activision this time around is planning to do something quite out of its stride, which is also something they have never attempted in the Call of Duty series. The publisher announced yesterday that it will host a free Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer demo on Xbox Live this weekend for Xbox One and PC. The promotions will start from the 7th till the 10th of March, and will mark the first time Activision has offered a multiplayer demo for a Call of Duty game. COD: Ghosts Cutscene Copied From Modern Warfare 2?
A cutscene from Call of Duty: Ghosts has been discovered which is pretty much a shot-for-shot remake of the ending of Modern Warfare 2. Many were quick to assume that Infinity Ward was slothful while making the game but there is a high possibility that the scene was intended as an homage to the earlier game considering that MW2’s Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley provided a lot of inspiration for the team when creating Ghosts. Ghosts is 720p on Xbox One, 1080p on PS4
Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin yesterday cleared a rumor about the comparative resolutions for Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. He did so on Twitter, by confirming the game is native 720p on Xbox One (upscaled to 1080p), while the PS4 version is native 1080p. “Hey, been on the road last couple weeks so haven’t had a chance to update, but wanted to confirm that for Xbox One we’re 1080p upscaled from 720p. And, we’re native 1080p on PS4,” said Mark. “We optimized each console to hit 60 FPS and the game looks great on both,” he added. “Still on the road, but glad to see the great reception to Extinction. Call of Duty: Ghosts to feature new multiplayer mode
Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature a new type of hybrid AI-and-human multiplayer experience called Squads. To start off, a player is made to form their own Squad, a group of soldiers with varying perks and load-outs designed to support a certain play style. This squad then builds its way up and progresses as the player unlocks XP throughout the various Squad-centric multiplayer modes. All of the XP earned in each of these Squad modes can then carry over to the multiplayer experience proper. Call of Duty: Ghosts launches on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC on November 5. COD: Ghosts Multipalyer to be revealed soon
Gamers waiting for a good multiplayer shooter game need not wait any longer. Infinity Ward are ready to debut the multiplayer mode for next generation shooter during Los Angeles event next month. An update in the official Call of Duty website said that Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer mode will be revealed in an event in Los Angeles on the 13th of August. Activision had earlier announced that multiplayer maps in this game will include dynamic elements such as floods, earthquakes, with player actions affecting the outcomes of these events. There will also be a character customization system in this multiplayer mode. Call of Duty: Ghosts launches November 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC.
