The 4th Corporate War’s over and the big dogs have retreated to their corners to lick their wounds. That leaves everyone else to fend for themselves in a shattered world. And that’s just fine. ‘cause you’ve got interface plugs in your wrists, metal in your limbs, and chips in your skull. You’re wired in, loaded with chrome, and ready to take it to the Edge. There’s a world full of opportunities out there. Maybe this time you can do more than save yourself. Maybe. If the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer was the only one you had your eyes on this E3, then you’re gonna be super pumped to hear about the official prequel. It’s called Cyberpunk Red and is the latest version of the original Tabletop RPG, Cyberpunk 2020. CD Projekt Red have worked in collaboration with R. Talsorian Games to make a common ti...
Located in the city of Wrocław, south-western Poland, the new studio will join forces with CD Projekt RED Warsaw and Cracow, and bolster development of Cyberpunk 2077 — the upcoming futuristic AAA role-playing game. “Wrocław is one of the biggest and most technologically advanced cities in Poland and a playing field for serious creative talent. I think the scope of our current and future projects, as well as the overall package we’re bringing in, will pull in people who were hesitant to move to Warsaw or Cracow.” — says Adam Kiciński, President and Joint CEO, CD Projekt Capital Group. “The founding dev team of CDPR Wrocław is already pretty stellar, but I still can’t wait to see what talents we’ll discover in new people along the way.” — Kiciński adds. Consisting of 18 talented industry ve...
With the recent news of online elements being added to Cyberpunk 2077 in order to maintain sustainability and make it more “commercially significant”, gamers were worried if this was a sign of their favorite developer going down the path of lootboxes and microtransactions. Luckily those worries have been alleviated as CD Projekt recently said this on Twitter: .@PrettyBadTweets Worry not. When thinking CP2077, think nothing less than TW3 — huge single player, open world, story-driven RPG. No hidden catch, you get what you pay for — no bullshit, just honest gaming like with Wild Hunt. We leave greed to others. — CD PROJEKT RED (@CDPROJEKTRED) November 19, 2017 That final bit about leaving greed to others is a clear jab at the recent lootbox controversy going on, especially with t...

Less than a day ago CD Projekt Red released an official statement in which they stated that internal files belonging to them which contained early designs for Cyberpunk 2077 had been stolen. The hackers/hacker have demanded a ransom from them with threats to release the files to the public if their demands were not met. CD Projekt stated in the statement that they will not comply with the hackers/hacker and that the documents were quite old and are not representative of the current vision of the game. I personally am quite upset and angry with the hackers/hacker as they are targeting a studio like CD Project Red who have worked so hard to get where they are and are one of the best game devs out there. To whoever stole these documents, screw you for doing this, the community stands with CD ...
After The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s success, fans are eagerly waiting for the next big CD Projekt Red title, Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077 has been under development for a long time, and not much information about the game has been revealed apart from some artwork and a very exciting trailer. Recently, CD Projekt Red had announced that they’ve got more people working on this game than they ever had for The Witcher 3. The hype is real. And now, it seems like the release date for the game might have creeped out, knowingly or unknowingly. A digital store known as Komplett has listed Cyberpunk 2077 on their website and according to them the game will be released on 30th September 2017. The studio hasn’t announced anything regarding this publicly, so it could all be mere specula...
According to a list of projects submitted by CD Projekt Red for a grant fomr the Polish GameINN program, it seems like the scale and potential of their new upcoming sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is massive. CD Projekt Red has applied for a technology called City Creation, which according to the official descpription (as translated from Polish) is “a complex technology for creating a huge living city, playable in real time, which the technology is based on rules, AI, and automation, and supports innovative processes and tools for making top-notch open-world games.” Another major project they’ve applied for includes Seamless Multiplayer, which is “a complex technology for making unique multiplayer gameplay mechanics, including the ability to search for opponents, manage game se...
During a Q&A session with investors about their upcoming open world sci-fi game Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red has revealed that a lot more devs are working on the title than their previous game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, during its peak month of development. Seems like it’s all hands on deck now, folks. A recent job posting on CD Projekt Red’s website also suggests that the devs are putting all their resources to use. The studio isn’t too keen on revealing any details soon, though. There is no release date and whether the game will support co-op/multiplayer is still under speculation. Still, we’re happy to know that the work is going on and we get to see the game sooner or later (most probably later). You know, considering the fact the both the Facebook and Twit...
CD Projekt Red had denied rumors of an Enhanced Edition for the critically acclaimed, and the most loved RPG, Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt being in the making in the beginning of the year, but they did confirm last month that a Game of the Year Edition was coming. And now Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition has a release date and a launch trailer. The game comes out on 30th August, and includes the base game, plus the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansion packs and all the DLC content, all of which seems a pretty solid deal. CD Projekt Red developer Konrad Tomaszkiewicz also confirmed to Eurogamer earlier in July that the Game of the Year edition will also bring “significant changes to the game’s interface and mechanics”, which only makes the whole package more a...

This week’s major updated games are: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman Arkham Knight. Batman Arkham Knight‘s PC version is still not fixed, and after delaying the Batgirl DLC, WB has announced that the latest patch for the game is coming on July 27th. No fixes have been detailed yet, but prepare for one massive patch notes section this time. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt got a patch this week, the Patch 1.07, and it adds quite a bit, but it also reportedly causes performance slowdowns in consoles. CDPR is already calling it the “Largest patch for the game yet”. The patch is 7.3 GBs on consoles and around 2.2 GBs on the PC. The PC version is just a prep patch and apparently doesn’t do much, with the proper patch arriving soon. You can find a (rather too complete f...
