Call Of Duty’s Microtransations are Just As Bad, But Activision Seems To Be Getting Away With It

It has been months since EA’s Battlefront 2 released and it’s still being bashed about the countless microtransactions. It is only right to since they made the microtransactions an integral feature rather than an add-on. On the other hand, there is Call of Duty World War 2, which also uses microtransactions. Although Call of Duty World War 2 wasn’t very well received by critics, it was cherished by players who were tired of the franchise’s repetitiveness. The game gives you 100 COD points as Payroll and players can earn more through various actions in game. However, players may also buy more COD points using real currency and I noted that 200 points could be purchased for $1.99. So why isn’t it criticized as Battlefront 2 was? The bold and brief answer to this question ar...

Call Of Duty Is A Mess For The First Time Ever

Call of Duty World War II was 2017’s most anticipated game as the series visits its roots amidst the socio-political war. However, that wasn’t the plan since the beginning. “Sledgehammer wanted to make Advanced Warfare 2,” Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg stated. A sequel to 2014’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare seemed obvious, as it was regarded positively by fans and critics alike. And Sledgehammer was, in fact, working hard on Advanced Warfare 2, until Infinity War came in the picture. Infinity War was not at all well-received by the fans. They accused the game of recycling old mechanics and maps and presenting the same game to fans each year. Infinity War’s reveal trailer is the most disliked video on Youtube. Many fans called for the franchise to return to its real hist...

Call Of Duty: World War 2 Cracked On Release, But Does Anyone Care?

Call Of Duty: World War 2 has just released for the PC, PS4 & and Xbox One, and it’s already been cracked. Before we go cheering the fall of Denuvo, here’s the twist – Call Of Duty: World War 2 does not use Denuvo, instead it uses Arxan Anti Tamper alongside a custom DRM. Anyways, the thing is that we have another big AAA release that has already been cracked on the day of release. However, with a multiplayer focused game like Call Of Duty, does anyone even care? Sure, if you pirate the game (which we do not condone), you can rush through the short campaign, but the meat of Call Of Duty lies in its multiplayer. And you definitely need a legit copy of the game to play the multiplayer. We had actually enjoyed Call Of Duty: World War 2’s multiplayer when the beta w...

Next Call Of Duty Game Will Return To Modern Warfare (RUMOR)

Call of Duty World War II is still quite a while away from release but we may already have a hint as to what or more appropriately when the next Call of Duty game is going to be set in. Call of Duty games have a cycle where one year it is Sledgehammer while the next it is Treyarch Studios. Well, after WWII it is Treyarch’s turn and very recently they posted a listing for a System Designer on their website which hints towards a modern day game. The listing specifically calls for someone who has “deep knowledge base of firearms and modern military technology,”. If this is true, this would be the first time since 2011’s Modern Warfare 3 that a Call of Duty game will be set during a modern day setting. Every Call of Duty since that has been set either in the future or past with the...

Top 5 Worst Call Of Duty Games Ever Made

With Call of Duty going back to its roots of World War II let’s take a look some of the Call of Duty games that were not really up to the mark or just fell flat when compared to its mighty legacy. Before people come at me with pitchforks, this is a list based on my opinion which will most likely differ from yours so before you start commenting with profanities, read why I feel so and then tell me why you think it shouldn’t be on this list. Call of Duty: Ghosts FISH A.I. I mean, when one of your selling points during a conference is ” Fish moving out of the way” what more can one say. Top 10 Biggest Video Game Franchises That Are Being Wasted Right Now

Gamers frequently complain about developers and publishers overdoing it with hastily released sequels. On the other hand, sometimes there are sequels that are never released and players are left hanging on to the events from the end of a previous game. And then there’s the third kind – games that take forever to develop, build up a ton of hype, but fall flat upon release. Today we are talking about some of the biggest video game franchises that are being wasted right now in one way or the other – Who has a goldmine of classic characters, games, or ideas that have just sat and collected dust, when they should still be used today? Is there one IP in particular that has no business being ignored in today’s culture of gaming? Or are there franchises that need to take a ...

The Modern Warfare 2 Remaster Might Be Coming Soon?

Last year’s remaster of Call of Duty 4 Remaster was remarkable, despite it being packaged along with Infinite Warfare – which was not all that well received by fans, even after being a fairly good game – and also being subjected to some really greedy DLC practices. But the remaster itself was very well done, and a ton of fun to play. And now people are asking for Modern Warfare 2 remaster. Activision, money-minded as they are, have every reason to make that happen and even bundle it along with the upcoming Call of Duty: World War 2. But if that had been the case, we would have surely heard about it at E3. While there’s still time before release, Activision will want as much hype as possible to be built for it and an announcement coming in anytime now seems unlikely....
