Assassin’s Creed Unity

Game Releases of November 2014

Every month I compile a list of games that are about to come out in the month, and this month by far has to be best month in games this year as there is just an assortment of games that are coming out, basically there is something for everyone. Huge games like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Rogue, WWE 2K15, MotoGP 14, PES 2015, Halo: The Master Chief Collection are all a part of the star studded line up of games that are releasing this month. Without further ado, let’s get right to it.   Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Probably one of the best first person shooters of all time, the COD franchise is making its mark with its latest installment “Advanced Warfare” and features stars like Kevin Spacey.   Release Date: 4th November Platform...

Assassin’s Creed Unity : Time Anomalies Trailer

Just when you couldn’t get any more excited about Unity, Ubisoft decide to pull this off! The latest Assassin’s Creed Unity trailer shows Arno smack dab in the middle of the World War II, with machine guns and everything.   The trailer shows some sort of spacetime  disturbance which transports Arno right into the Second World War. You’ll find yourself in the middle of a gun fight and running for cover around the iron bars of the Eiffel Tower  A survey taken late last year showed that Assassin’s Creed was toying with the idea of allowing players to explore a city in another era.  No trailer or any sort of footage gave us any hints that this was going to happen, and I think I like that they didn’t. Man I love surprises!

Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed Unity Trailer Featuring 1,400 Fan Made Assassins

Today, Ubisoft unveiled a revolutionary new interactive trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity.  Co-created by the community, the CGI trailer offers a breathtaking dive into the French Revolution, and showcases fan made Assassin’s flooding the city of Paris. Over several months, the community created and voted for their favourite Assassins that would feature in the trailer.  Over 200,000 Assassins were designed, with the top 1,400 making the cut.  At any moment in the trailer, the community can pause and zoom in on any Assassin, allowing them to spot their creations in action.  A gigapan will also be released that features every single Assassin’s in the one image.   “The Assassin’s Creed universe lives through its fans’, and this trailer is an amazing opportunity for them to be part of th...

Assassin’s Creed Unity PC Specs A Little Too Extravagant

Ubisoft announced yesterday the minimum and recommended PC specs for Assassin’s Creed Unity, and all we have to say is that Nvidia and AMD are going to make some new business. You need a 64-bit operating system and a 50GB of hard drive space to install it. The processor and RAM requirements aren’t that bad, but what stands out most are the video card requirements. A GTX 680 or HD 7970 is the you’ll need to run the game. The only video cards supported at release are the GTX 680 or better; the GTX 700 series; the HD 7970 or better; and the R9 200 series. Laptop versions of these “may work but are not officially supported.” The full required and recommended specs follow below. Required Specs: OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K ...

Assassin’s Creed Cats

Lately there have been a lot of video of cats doing random stuff and quite honestly I thought it was incredibly irritating, until I saw this.   YouTube user Mr.TVCow posted the video, in which four hooded kittens hunt down French soldiers, just like in the trailers for Assassin’s Creed Unity. They do everything like use their eagle vision ability, parkour after their target. And I have to admit it is pretty darn cute. Assassin’s Creed Unity launches November 11 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Another game, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, is also launching on that day, but it’s coming only to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Ubisoft has not yet announced a DLC pass for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, but we do know about its preorder bonuses.

Assassin’s Creed Unity Co-Op Heist Mission Gameplay Video

Ubisoft published a gameplay video for Assassin’s Creed Unity that showcases one of their game’s co-op heist missions. The video is of two assassins infiltrating an ancient Parisian hospital to steal artifacts. The video also features the voice of creative director Alex Amancio who narrates while a friend skillfully plays through the mission by using abilities like Eagle Vision and lockpicking–which requires you to successfully complete a quick minigame. A really cool aspect that comes with having another player alongside is that you can perform “sync kills” where you team up with your friend to pull off some deadly shit.   As you’ll hear in the video, Assassin’s Creed Unity’s heists are designed to be “highly replayable,”. These missions have...

Assassin’s Creed: Unity delayed to meet the quality standards

Assassin’s Creed: Unity will release a whole two weeks later than originally planned, Ubisoft has announced – it’s now out on 11th November in the US and 13th November in Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Africa, with details for other regions presumably to follow. The delay “will help ensure that the quality of the game meets fans’ – and the team’s – lofty expectations”, according to a release, and “has no impact on the company’s full year financial targets”. “As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional,” observed Vincent Pontbriand, senior producer at Ubisoft. &...

Assassin’s Creed: Unity trailer stands out

First up during Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference, Assassin’s Creed: Unity. This time, we get a nice montage of game footage, as Arno runs around, above and through buildings, before the trailer cuts to some impressively populated crowds. It’s not the most action-heavy of trailers, but it shows off the setting and tech nicely, and hints at some Assassin-based lore nonsense. Assassin’s Creed: Unity is due out 28 October. Assassin’s Creed Unity To Run At 720p On PS4

An official listing for Assassin’s Creed Unity at Sony Entertainment Network shows that the title is expected to run at 720p resolution on the PlayStation 4. It quite clearly says that the game outputs 720p HD.  This is so strange as the last game, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag ran at 1080p on the PlayStation 4. In addition to this Ubisoft confirmed in an interview with GamingBolt that they were targeting 1080p and 60fps on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now there is a chance that this listing may just be an error and the developers are still working on the final resolution or this is just the minimum resolution that is supported by the game. In any case,  we just hope that this isn’t true. Even Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition have their correct resolutions lis...
