What begun as a simple video game franchise back in November 2017, went on to become a universe in itself that comprises movies, comics, novels and uncountable fans. And just when thought that the future of the series was dull, Ubisoft unveiled Assassin’s Creed Origins, the game that gave a new spur of life to the series with its revamped gameplay mechanics and the vast open world of Ancient Egypt. Assassin’s Creed introduced a new genre of games with Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad on the last generation of consoles, a genre where the player can climb on top of almost anything and discover historic locations. Initially, Assassin’s Creed was supposed to be a spin-off title of Prince of Persia where the players would take charge of a female Assassin who would have protected the p...

Assassin’s Creed has come a long way since it first released over ten years. It has given us beloved characters, cherished moments. and also a ton of frustration. So we’ve decided to rank all of the games in the franchise from best to worst, and see what that looks like. Also, this is my personal opinion, which is obviously the only correct opinion to have. Also remember that there are around 15 of these games now, and none of us probably never played them all, so don’t come here telling me that Black Flag was the best. It wasn’t. Anyways, enjoy the list, and do let me know that you strongly disagree. Assassin’s Creed Revelations Revelations was the series’ high point for me. The game just closes on such a strong note, and has tons of exciting stuff alon...
Assassin’s Creed franchise probably won’t see a release next year. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that we might not see the next iteration before 2018. In an interview with GameSpot, Guillemot said that the publisher has “an opportunity to take the series to another level.” They will be putting the time to good use to make the experience fantastic. “There’s a huge potential in this game to revolutionise the IP, so we said, ‘Let’s make sure we change our model so we have more time and that we can bring back a greater experience.'” When asked about what sort of time frame we were looking at, he replied saying that the franchise will return when it’s ready. In case you forgot the rocky start Unity had during it’s launch then you might want to ...
India has taken a fair bit of time, but has started making it’s mark in the entertainment industry across the world perhaps now more than ever before. Portrayal of India/Indians around the world over time has definitely increased. Initial glimpses were seen in shows like Mind Your Language with characters like Ranjeet Singh and Jameela Ranjhat who played Indians trying to learn English in the UK. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, though causing a certain level of controversy, did cast actors like Amrish Puri in the movie. Roger Moore’s second last Bond film, Octopussy, cast iconic Indians like Kabir Bedi and Vijay Amritraj. Then in 2002 Bend it like Beckham gathered a huge response setting the record in India for the most number of tickets sold during a single weekend for a...

I am a positive guy. I try to be hopeful, see the best in people. And that’s why, I was truly optimistic for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. I had even somehow managed to enjoy Unity, if nothing else, just for how gorgeous Paris looked. And when Ubisoft promised me a better game in London, I almost believed them. Well, fuck. The game looks like a let-down from the very start. The visuals have been toned down big-time when compared to Unity. Sure, that lessens the number of bugs experienced. But when some interesting element of a game causes problems, removing that element instead of fixing it, isn’t much of a solution. And the crowds (when there are any) still behave oddly, performing tele-portations and other unstable activities. The people and the environment seem like they...
