Valve have revealed a new image of their latest version of its Steam Controller prototype. It still remains quite similar to the version that originally came out in September. But what’s new is the two diamond-patterned button layout added to the slot initially reserved for a touch-screen display.

This doesn’t mean that the Steam Controller has lost its touch functionality. The new analog buttons now add to the controller’s two touch pads. How the new button layout affects ease of use remains to be seen.
