Crytek’s upcoming PlayStation VR project, Robinson: The Journey may not have been a launch title for the PS VR, but the wait is over.
The highly anticipated dinosaur themed sci-fi adventure is set to launch in November, according to the game’s Twitter account. The game seems to be a great platform to show off the PS 4’s VR capabilities, where players can explore an alive environment, aided by a robot guide somewhat similar to Portal 2.
In addition to The Climb, this project marks two games that Crytek is developing for VR. Though Robinson is exclusive to the PS VR, The Climb will be available for the Oculus Rift. It also marks the second time that the studio will be shifting focus in recent years, the first time being shortly before the launch of Crysis 3, when CEO Cebat Yerli had said that they’d be moving to an entirely free-to-play model with the release of their title Warface.
Robinson: The Journey will be available starting 8th November in the United States and 9th November in Europe.
