If you’ve been playing online on your Playstation 4, you’re sure to be familiar with Sony’s Playstation Plus (PS Plus) service. This is Sony’s online service that you need to subscribe to if you want to play online on the PS4, and it bundles in a few ‘free’ games every month. You can subscribe to the service on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis and the price for it was already kind of expensive. Sadly, it’s set to go up even higher in India on August 31st.

A recent announcement by Sony lists the prices for PS Plus as below:
- One year PlayStation Plus subscription is Rs. 4,439 (previously Rs. 3,999)
- Three month PlayStation Plus subscription is Rs. 1,869 (previously Rs. 1,599)
- One month PlayStation Plus subscription is Rs. 599 (previously Rs. 576)
With big AAA releases slated for September and beyond, including Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Destiny 2, Call Of Duty: World War 2 and more, you’d be better off renewing the subscription before the price goes up.
