PlayStation 4 Doubles Its Game Count At TGS 2015

Sony’s PlayStation  has taken and announced few vital announcements and games at TGS 2015. When compared with last year’s TGS, PS4 has proven its popularity since more than 100 games were showcased at TGS 2015 of Sony.

Moreover this time Sony has also announced for a price drop of PS4 consoles in Japan from 332$ to 290$. Last year at Sony TGS their were 42 games which were announced however this time at Sony TGS 2015 the count has been doubled, i.e from 42 to 103 games. Focusing on home consoles and dedicated handhelds Sony is the boss of Japan market right now.

Many interesting game trailers and gameplay footages were released, however we were able to compile the best of them.

Dark Souls 3

Developers: FromSoftware | Publishers: Bandai Namco | Release Date: April 2016

As fires fade and te world falls into ruins, gamers will get lost in the games hallmark rewarding gameplay and graphics. The fourth entry in Dark Souls franchise will be absolutely new and familiar at the same time.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8

Developers: Square Enix | Distributors: Disney Interactive Studios | Release Date: 2016

Obviously that’s a kind of odd title you are screening at but according to director, Tetsuya Nomura “the 2.8 number comes from 2.6 plus 0.2”, Well Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 is an HD remastered collection of the Kingdom Heart series.

When publishers Square Enix announced this game, fans round the world were dazed of this weird title. Infact Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 is getting released since Kingdom Hearts 3.0 might arrive too late in 2017, however the game trailer of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is very much anticipating.

Gravity Daze 2

Developers: Project Siren | Publishers: Makato Isomine | Release Date: December 2016 

Grabity Rush/ Gravity Daze 2 an action adventure video game directed by Keiichiro Toyamo. The storyline of Gravity Daze 2’s prequel is somehow interesting since player was not bound in any way by the forces of gravity, we could expect something similar from Gravity Daze 2 writer Keiichiro Toyama. Gravity Daze 2 will be releasing for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4.

Dragon Quest Builders

Developers: Kazuya Niinou | Publishers: Square Enix | Release Date: January 28, 2016

Players will control the saviour who has been tasked with rebuilding world that sounds obnoxious since it was destroyed by the mighty evil dragon. Build, plan, protect the world. Dragon Quest Builders was showcased at TGS 2015, Check out 18 minutes of gameplay.

Metal Gear Online

Developers: Kojima | Publishers: Konami | Released Date: October 6, 2015 (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360) and January 2016 (PC)

Third installment in Metal Gear Online franchise, Metal Gear Online 3 supports 16-player online battles for Xbox One, PS4 and PC(you heard me right!), however it can only support 12-player online battles for Xbox 360 and PS3. Game was initially set for September release, however it got delayed.

Dragonball Z: Extreme Butoden

Developers: Bandai Namco | Publishers: Bandai Namco | Release Date: October 2015

Are you a Dragonball Z fan? Waiting for a big push? Dragonball Z: Extreme Butoden features over 100 fighters in both one-on-one and team battles. The best part is the game will feature sagas as either the heroes and villains, Yup! play as a heel and face.

Developers Bandai Namco has already released a demo/sample version of the game which showcased very few fighters like Goku, Vegeta, Teen Gohan and Boo.

Final Fantasy Dawn 2.0 Trailer

Developers: Yoshida | Publishers: Square Enix | Release Date: March 2016

Highly anticipated Final Fantasy XV Could be the best MMORPG game in recent times. At TGS 2015 publishers Square Enix released and revealed the Final Fantasy XV-Dawn 2.0 trailer and roles involved in it. The game was released first in 2010 which gained negative reviews across every machine, thereafter Square Enix has announced a special team which will work on Final Fantasy XV remake, led by Yoshida.

Yakuza Kiwami (Remake of Yakuza)

Sega at TGS 2015 announced Yakuza Kiwami. The game will availed will be launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan for 6,490 yen. The game will feature a significant number of additional scenes. Sega also revealed that, Yakuza Kiwami is revenge for the unbearable regret offered by the original Yakuza, there is also a mini game called “Insect Queen Female King” included in the game. Developers: Sega | Publishers: Sega | Release Date: January 21,2016.

Project Setsuna

Developers: Tokyo RPG factory | Publishers: Square Enix | Release Year: Q1 2016

At TGS 2015 Project Setsuna Developers Square Enix said,”A classic role playing game and from the new trailer that looks exactly what we’re getting.” Set in winter with white snow torching and the music playing is charming. The best part in Project Setsuna is, its not reinventing or remake itself, its absolutely new and doesn’t contain any boring same old story.

Resident Evil Zero Remaster HD

Developers: Capcom | Publishers: Capcom | Release Year: 2016

Resident Evil Zero Remaster HD/ Biohazard 0 is a survival horror game which was first released as a prequel of Resident Evil 1 on Nintendo Gamecube. A remastered version of the game is set to release in 2016 with additional characters involving.

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters

Old Hunters is the first DLC for Bloodborne. The first and new DLC will feature new locations, Bosses and Armors, Weapons, Tools and Old Hunter Items.

Well not only PS4 but also PlayStation Vita was also up from last year by having 62 games at TGS 2015, compared 34 last year. Here is a list of games showed up in TGS 2015 for different platforms which include PS4, PS Vita, PC, iOS, Android, Nintendo 3DS etc etc.
